I'm a slimming consultant 2 nights a week, running weight loss classes. I also do babysitting, which on average I do 1 evening every 2 weeks.
I too am glad to see I'm not the only moonlighter!Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -

I get %.50 per hour plus 2.80PH (Sometime smore) expenses and tips
Some indians pay £6 per hour flat
Blimey! Must just be in my town then. The pizza chain here pays peanuts and the indians and their customers are chucking the money around.
Funny how it differs from place to place.
I was often considering applying for the p/t job of delivering meals on wheels.Sometimes I feel like a pelican. Whichever way I turn, I've still got an enormous bill in front of me.0 -
Brilliant idea on this post. I am also looking for a part time job preferably working at home using computer or internet any ideas? I worked in the hospital and with two school children to look after I have few hours free during the day when I'm on days off. Any little additional income will help.0

Very interesting thread john_kent. Love hearing what other people do for a second job. I would love to have a second job just for a few hours a week, just not sure where to start.0

Glad it's not just me either with the 2 job thing!
As well as my full time job I earn extra money ebaying, also matched betting with my business partner and playing tournament poker. All earn me extra ££££ which all goes towards paying off my debt! All "work" I enjoy. Before this (2 years ago) I worked weekends at an estate agents (2 years with no wk end off=killer) then before that I used to work in a pub either at night or at weekends as well as working for my dad cleaning offices.

Hubby is a retained (part time, on call) fireman weekends and evenings which gives us about £700 extra per month. It does make it hard for me to get a job though in the evenings. I'm a stay at home mum although I've been offered cash in hand (sssh don't tell anyone) to be a childminder for next door kids from December. My neighbour and her OH both work shifts and work one week on, one week off so is makes it expensive for them to have professional childcare as they have to pay for it even when the kids don't go on their week off. I've got 3 aged 5 and under so another 2 won't make much difference - she says hopefully !!!!!
I also dabble on Ebay to make a few extra pounds. There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I promote just dial services to customers whilst I'm at work so it saves them money, makes the deal better for them (more likely to buy then) and earns me money all at the same time0

I do two part time jobs (around the full time mum thing!). One is selling children's books at parties and things. It's the same idea as Ann Summers, or Body Shop at home, but is sufficiently child friendly that the kids can come with me so I don't have to pay for childcare. That's the main earner for me. The other is tutoring ancient history. It's not a big earner, and to be honest I'm finding it really frustrating at the moment, but I committed to teach this AS level, so can't quit for a few weeks yet!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0
