I work as a project worker for a drop in centre for people with mental health problems. The money is good and I choose when I work. Am clearing an additonal £500 for doing about 6 days per month.

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

between hubby and i - he works full time as a delivery driver and is retraining as an accountant and does college 2 nights a week. I work 4 nights at a supermarket 8-midnight (killer) and I also start after easter as a pre-school assistant at my daughters pre-school. this is fab as it means my children are at my place of work so I don't have childcare costs and although I have to pay for my little fella as he is only 2, the job will pay for him to go (so no worse off) and there will be a bit extra! I do haev another job working for some specialists but am giving that up now as I have realised I am not superwoman.

as for working a couple of jobs my little girl who is 4 said to me the other day mummy when I am a big girl like you I am going to have 2 jobs and work hard just like you..............I nearly cried and said to her I hope not darling.....bless em..........

    xx

  • I have got my full time day job and my second job in in a pub, and I love it!! Shifts vary where I am and they are pretty good as many or as little as I want. I use my wages from the pub as my spending money and try to use my "proper" wages to pay bills and pay off debts. Also sell stuff on eBay as an aside. Made £100 last night! Bonus!!
