    Thanks Donna. Feeling quite calm at the moment. Got a slight nervous/excited feeling in my tummy like butterflies............or maybe its a sign I'm about to go into labour.:rotfl:

    Well 24 hours into being BR, and so far going good, going through a mountain of paperwork and loving it :p,
    Anyway just got my first call from my OR, and tell you what I was expecting a call from someone else, and it did give me a shock, when she said who she was :rotfl: Well she has said to me that I will be able to keep my current bank account with the Halifax, and she will be sending a letter to them explaining my situation and advise in them its in the best interest to keep it open, she did advise they will freeze it first, is this standard? Anyway so far so good....the main interview should be in about 2 weeks time.

    Hi dibs, speaking from experience, don't expect the Halifax to keep your account open - they have a tendency to close the account completely once they learn you are BR, even if the OR says they have no interest in it. They are not a BR friendly bank. I hope that you have another account as a back up just in case because I strongly suspect you will need it. I hope they prove me wrong for once! Let us know! Am pleased that the first contact with your OR went well.

    Back from court. All done and dusted and i'm still alive. Baby still tucked safely in me belly so no dramas on that front lol.

    actually feels more like this at the moment :eek:

    going to be a long weekend waiting. I was told i would hear from OR in a couple of days.
