As at 1230pm this afternoon I was officially announced as BR. Took from entering the interview room to walking out of the court a staggering 32 mins!
The clerk who went through my forms could not of been a nicer person, after I almost broke down twice on her, hint take some tissues as I was not expecting the emotions that I went through. The time I was with the judge was a mind blowing 30 secs!!!!!! nice chap he was, but god did I feel like I as 8 years old being told off at school!
One thing to note, if you are unemployed like me, and claiming JSA contribution based, you must take copies of your bank account statements for the past 3 months to be entitled to the £150.00 fee waiver. I as advised by CAB that it would not be a problem, but it was, and with the thanks to my partner running round to a cash point, I was still able to carry out my BR. I will be able to claim the £150 back, by sending off for a claim, with my statements. If you are on income based JSA the above would not apply to you.
Well it has been done, and now Im waiting for a call from the OR, to go through the next steps. Just about to start the proccess of having the pleasure of telling my creditors of the news.
Its one hell of a strange feeling Im getting, one of relief and joy, but also of sadness and failure. I have hit the bottom of the barrel, and now doing my best in climbing out of it, I feel like I have been given a ladder to climb out of it, still a bit to go, but every step is in the right direction. i will of course keep you up to date my journey through BR
I have said it once and I will say it again THANK YOU!Cheers Dibs
