Lots of the above will be carried over to next week. Just having a cuppa and looking at some holiday ideas DH has sent me. Then an hour in the front garden - it is very windy here. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Afternoon all. One load of washing done and dried and put away, even though it's been quite cloudy.
DD2 picked me up earlier and we went over to her flat so I could see her new guinea pigs and have a cuddle (aahhhhh) then on the way back we went into Peacocks. They didn't have much there but I did get some socks - £4 for 7 pairs, second pack half price and DD2 had a 40% off voucher - so I got 14 pairs for socks for £3.60. My kind of price
Then back home to make a fruit cake which is cooling on the worktop, avidly watched by my dog.
Don't know whether DH is coming back from fishing tonight or tomorrow so I've had a bacon sandwich for lunch and if he's not back by about 7pm I'll cook myself something then.
Hope everyone's OK - off to catch up.0 -
Summermoon - your friends family are in my thoughts. Lots of hugs honey.

Afternoon Everyone. Im having a CBA day and not much done. I have been to Mr As though and lunch is busy cooking. Just feel like chilling today.
So bedroom and spare room are waiting till they next come round. I am planning on doing some of the kitchen later as Im going to put a quiche in. So might as well do bits while in there.
I have been for my walk around the lake as I thought the fresh air might help. That makes about 8 mile Ive walked in two days.
Put towels in.
Clean washing been put away.
Make quiche for work.
Lady L Big hugs, Im thinking of you.
JustaMum Big hugs for you and OH. Sending positive healing thoughts for your MIL.

ooh
couldn't get on the pc earlier so went upstairs, changed into tat and have
re dug the already worked end of the veg patch
lifted the polysheet (I'm trying to kill couch grass) and then replaced it
moved a baby froggy (aah)
moved the compost bin and refilled it, turning all the compost and mixing it well (sawdust in there from pet cleaning) it should be ready by the end of the summer
hauled almost all of the Valerian out of the side border at the front of the house- I have sedums; bluebells (they were there when I moved in) and my beautiful, voluptuous peony plants and doing well (if Nigella Lawson were a plant she would be a peony) and well as wygelia and hebe and cyclamen and evening primroses and lovely stuff - and a right miserable rhododendron!
