Can I have a Visa Debit with NatWest??

My private banking NatWest Visa Debit arrived today. I ordered it on Moday afternoon, it wasn't to replace a lost/damaged card so pretty impressed how quickly it turned up! Maybe Privare Banking customers get moved to the top of the queue. : )
Card is quite unusual - the sides of the card (i.e. the really thin bit!) are dark red, whilst the rest of the card is a very matt dark purple, with the exception of the NatWest logo on the front which is gloss. Looks much better than the RBS Private one! The VISA Debit logo is all in silver.
Could you post a picture of the card?0 -
The ulster bank card looks better than natwest & RBS one
About time too!! you want to see the ulster bank solo card, its bright yellow and sticks out like a sore thumb..... You might as well have a flashing sign saying "I`ve a solo card"..... Hence the reason I`m so glad to be getting shot of it!0 -

All Ulster Bank ServiceCards, CashPlus cards and CashCards will change between 14th September 2009 and December 2010. The Laser, Maestro and Cirrus brands will be replaced with Visa Debit and Visa Plus brands. Customers will receive their new cards as follows:
- All new and replacement cards (including lost and stolen) - from 14th September 2009 onwards.
- Cards due to expire before December 2010 will be replaced 2 - 6 weeks before the card is due to expire.
- Cards due to expire after December 2010 will be replaced in a rolling programme from November 2009 to December 2010.
You can order your new Visa Debit card now, just call into your local branch
I am with Natwest not Ulster and I did say to the guy their website suggested differently and I could request a Visa Debit if I wanted to upgrade now. He just said again it wasn't a facility they offered and wouldn't be able to do it.
I said well my chip is broken anyway so we'll just do it that way then..
Spurred me on to do this as for the third time i've not been able to order from a company because they only take Visa and Mastercard!
I feel a bit guilty, I was put through to the account review thing and a girl spoke to me for ages and then explained about the Advantage Blue thing. Although I was quite interested in it and it suits me quite well I didn't take it up on the spot and I can see that I will do it another day
She tried so hard too.0 -
seriously, bright illuminious yellow, or yella as we say here
It will be getting shreaded as soon as the new one comes!
There is an advantage of it being yellow if you lost it in the dark you would easily identify itIm an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

Probably notmany people have complained to the website saying they are unable to order and the company just keep apologizing saying they will hope to have it changed soon. So I doubt it works on there :-D
Silly company bought out another company and proclaimed that it "would only get better" right as they removed most of the payment methods!
Looking forward to getting my Visa now :-)0
