Well done Cheesedoff and Scruffypet! I'm finding it's quite addictive but unlike choc biccies it's a good addiction! :D

I've got €2 to add. I reckon I'm around the 20 quid mark now so I might lodge it against my loan this week. It will be a great feeling!:A
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)

Welcome to the challenge Cheesedoffwithdebt and Scruffypet, well done on starting saving

Really pleased to hear you are doing so well Nuala! That’s fab! Would you like me to put €20 next to your name on the first post?

I've only managed to put 5p in my piggybank today! But haven't spent any money so that's good! Got to go out later, and not sure I will resist the lure of the sweet shop but will do my best!

I'm really sorry to hear about your demotion Lesley, hope you aren't too upset. I'm sure things will pick up soon. If you want to talk about it, feel free, I'm sure we will be all happy to listen and give you our support if we can.

I will add your total Nuala, I didn't go to the sweet shop! I wish I had tho! Had a terrible journey due to a major road into Guildford being shut, so the roads in and out were really chocka! I want chocolate! Instead, I've had cornflakes!

    Hi folks,

So sorry to hear about your demotion Lesley. If you ever want a moan you know where to find me. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you in any case.

Rosepink, am very impressed at your willpower:T - I think I would have succumbed to the lure of choc and sweeties!

I put €1 in the pot today. I think I must have about 20 (my target) by now but have decided to let it run till the end of May and lodge it then. It will nice to see how much I've managed to save in a month!
