That's fantastic about the windfall Rosepink - hope you kept a little to buy some WW cakes!:D

Welcome Mcjordi - you're off to a great start! I'm doing the Sealed Pot too. That gets the very small change (don't tell Sue :D) and my 1 and 2 euros go into my loose change pot.

Never mind Busterollie, there'll be more change next week!
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

I know, we were so moved when DH's parents said they were giving it to us. They were really shocked when they found out we were in debt and we explained that it was our problem and not theirs but they insisted and in the end we had to give in gracefully! I still feel really bad about it, but MIL is from a country where if you have something it belongs to your whole family and you share it out, so she would have been really offended if we had refused, altho we did try to!

Sorry! I was guessing from your username! Mc= scottish jordi = geordie I thought! Vivid imagination me!

Have a stressful day ahead of me, 2 work meetings and am really dreading one of them. Got no other work today so am only going for them, have to leave at 11:45.

Going to try not to buy anything today, so probably won't get any change! Oh well, I'd rather not spend money!

Must be very tough - am thinking of you and have fingers crossed you get a better job with a nicer boss. Sometimes these things have a way of working out for the best. Hugs being sent your way.

Another €2 for the pot yesterday, nothing today as I spent no money.
