  • Well done Pockets and Lesley, you are doing fab!

I found 70p in the wash, so am nabbing that for my pot.
When we were on holiday, I got a new piggy bank (not very MSE to BUY a piggybank, but I just love it! It's like the one in the link, but has a bright multicoloured pattern), and have decided DH can have it to put his loose change in, as he leaves piles of it lying around but doesn't like me taking it. So, in an effort to keep the place tidier (and because I didn't really need a new piggy bank and needed to find a use for it!) he can use it.

Lesley, I'm struggling with my weight too, it just doesn't seem to go down! I've been walking as much as poss, been really careful with eating all week and today I've not lost anything. Grr. Am starving hungry today too! You can do it girl I know you can!

  • That reminds me - I must dig out my wii fit! I've got my mum nagging me that I'm "turning into my mother's daughter".

Pockets, you are doing so well! You've done really great, reaching your target and everything! :j:j:T:T

Focus, I know how you feel, I'm the same, not getting any change cos not able to spend any money! But I did get out £10 so if I don't spend it this week, I'm going to put in my pot. Not put anything in there for ages so it needs a boost! Hope things get better for you soon :kisses3:

Lesley, I really hope you get the new job and well done on using the wii fit - doing exercise will really help you to cope mentally, I'm doing lots of walking and finding I'm much better mentally

DH has had quite a bit of work lately, and we are just about paying our bills which is nice! I feel like I can breathe again! He's going to part-ex his truck and his Dad is going to pay the difference so that DH can get a van. DH will do a couple of days work for his Dad a month to pay him back. So that's pretty good. We are still in a tight situation but hopefully things will get better.
