Good morniing everyone.
It's the 6th of Oct and I am making my first addition to the pot - bit behind me thinks!
I challened myself to £20 a month which works out at .65p a day - rounded up.
My first addition is .46p so I am way behind but will be catching up soon as have some change coming my way.
So £00.46/£20.00
Have a lovely day everyone.

I would like to join this challenge if you don't mind.
I started a pot a couple of days ago. I would like to pledge £50 for October please. My starting point today is £2.92/£50

Do you guys track what goes in the pot? Empty it once a month or whatever? Or just keep chucking it in until it's full?
Welcome to the thread anniehallwhen rosepink returns she will allocate you with a number. Each to their own when it comes to adding and banking the money. Some people give themselves certain amounts to aim for while others are saving for specific occasions or purchases. All are welcome to this thread

Hello, I'm back. Have spent all my money, nothing left for the pot except a few coppers in my piggy bank. Hope you are all well, I'm completely worn out so will catch up properly tomorrow.

I pad quite a bit to my sealed pot, so can you put me down for £20 for October please x
Thanks Focus for welcoming the newcomers while I was gone, I really appreciate that. What did you decide about your pot? Gonna keep going til its full or use it sooner?
Amiehall and Scbye, welcome to the thread! Great to have you joining in. I will put your names on the first post straight away. Hope you enjoy the challenge. Please feel free to ask any questions
Amie, I just chuck change in to my pot and have a count up when it feels heavy. I also have a piggybank for my coppers and five p’s and I usually count that up when it’s full. You can keep track of things however you like really, as you add it, or count it up periodically or whatever. To me, the important thing is to bank it and pay it those bills asap so that for those of us in debt we are paying less interest on those CC’s.
How is everyone doing with their pots? Like to give us an update on your progress?
If there are any new ones who would like to join in, let me know! You will be very welcome!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I banked another £21 today so I've banked £108 to date. Progress this month is a little slack partly due to my no spend days!
£11.25 / £40.00
Still do-able, I reckon.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
