Hope it goes well at the doctors Lesley, is he/she sympathetic and helpful?
I'm ok thanks, just hungry! I've eaten loads today, all healthy stuff tho and I'm trying not to eat anymore now as I've had enough food to sustain me! And I've done more steps than yesterdays pathetic amount so that's good. I'm hoping to get a 1, 000 more steps than yesterday and build it up.
How are you getting on Lesley and Focus?
How is everyone doing with your loose change saving? We need everyone to post and give us an update!

rosepink i hate it when my partner eats infront of me, but he isnt as overweight as me so he can get away with it. he munches on bars of choc all the timenot helpful but since ive started this diet ive not felt the need to eat chocolate. what a shocker!! it will be a month tomo so yay!!! very happy about this.

This is a great idea! I have always had problems getting to grips with the principle of "every penny counts". I always thought that if you are in debt anyway what difference does it make if you spend another tenner?
I found 50p under the sofa tonight and got really excited - which made me realised how much this site has changed my attitude. I am going to count my penny jar later, then save it to pay it towards my nasty Halifax ccard at the end of the month.0 -

I know Focus, I was a bit worried about revealing the shocking truth about my weight! Nevermind, we are doing something about it and that's the main thing. Sorry to hear you had trouble with the tube strike, it sounds like it was chaos up in London today. My dad works there but fortunately he was able to work from home today. My DH isn't as overweight as me, he has a tiny beer belly but is fine really. So I know I shouldn't begrudge him eating in front of me especially as he's worked hard today. It's a bit tricky when I'm hungry but need to develop mental strength to deal with it!
Welcome Yorkshire Lass! It's great to have you joining in. I find this challenge really satisfying as it's quite easy and makes a big difference. I used to feel the same as you, I spent money like water, but now I really want to get in the black again and not be in the red! Think how great you will feel when you are debtfree. Post as much as you like, we are always pleased to hear how each other are getting on.
Lesley, hope your appointment tomorrow goes well and is helpful"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Afternoon all,
Have banked my surprise £8 today. The woman in the bank is now looking at me oddly thanks to all these visits with bags of change
Now onto the business of saving the next lot, I will NOT look before 1st July. I will NOT!! hehehe it's going to be harder not to count it than it is to save it!
How's everyone else's week going?

Well done Kate, just ignore funny looks from the woman in the bank! You are taking control of your debt, that's the main thing!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

evening/afternoon all
kate well done on cashing it up. before when ive cashed up change (before this challenge) i was abit shy about it but i think why am i being silly for? a bag of coppers is still money. why are we judging it because it not a shiny new note?
anyway i would be happy to cash any money. watch the pennies and the pounds will watch themselves, i think ive read that saying somewhere.
been out and about and now have some change to put to my pot. woo!!! had £1.35 so now ive got over £18yay not long until i get £20 but still not going to cash it in until the pot is totally full. hasnt even reached the first mark yet.
