ok i was wrong about the limited part but not the expensive part, im sure that eats up alot of your change.

afew years ago i used one and i was only doing about 2 - 3000 steps a day. was terrible :(

Since my pedometer arrived at 2pm I've done just over 2, 000 steps. I think the point is that you don't normally walk as much but having the pedometer means that you can increase your activity. I think for me exercise is going to be key.
Well done Focus on losing nearly a stone in a month! I am aiming for that this month. How did you find it?
I'm trying to eat little and often, as if I have a big gap between eating then my blood sugar drops, I get really weepy and tired and can't stop eating sweets and chocolate. I've found that just by having something to eat every couple of hours I'm more stable - have more energy and eat less rubbish. I've got lots of lowfat cereal bars, nutragrain bars, low fat protein things (ham, cheese) and WW cakes and puddings for a treat in the evening. And I've been trying to have more vegetables with my meals.
I really hope that it will help me to lose weight, especially now I am focusing on walking.

I am going out tomorrow - seeing my mum in the morning and have a doctors appointment in the afternoon, so will hopefully be able to get some change for the pot - I will have to think of something to buy!

P.S. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one with such a huge amount of weight to lose! I feel so embarrassed at being so huge - we will all be slim beauties by the end of this!

I've relocated some of DH's change to the pot, will count it properly later as I was in a rush earlier and didn't see how much there was
