    Hi everyone,

I have been lurking around on here but never really got into the swing of it and never really posted but have now decided it is defo time to get my backside and gear and get counting those pennies!

I have a little jar with coppers and some silver in it must count and see how much I have actually probably not much! :( BUt positivity and all every penny counts so :D

So 20 minutes later... I have (drum roll please) £13.80 to start with :D

I am well impressed with that it did'nt look that much, but heyho all goes towards the debts so yeay!!! :j
:ADon't regret the things you've done, regret the things you have'nt!!!:A
  • just come back from the shops and added some more to the pot (just when you thought you were catching up to me rosepink). Felt fine maybe the scared feeling yesterday was a blip. Will have to keep an eye on that maybe it is the tablets that is causing it.

  • Hey Lesley, Rosepink, Focus & everyone!

First, thanks for the warm welcome - and welcome to Diva as well, another newbie like me!

Found a big old cookie jar today that I'm gonna use as my change pot now - I'll definitely get £100 in it, maybe more if I can keep putting bigger coins in it too. Put about 80p in there today in bits and bobs, woohoo! Am loving how this place is motivating me to start saving, even if it is only pennies at a time... never been a saver before ever! Hopefully in time I'll be saving up for nice things, rather than paying off debts.

Focus - I've lost 7.5 stone altogether, altho I have to confess my scales broke 6 months ago and I haven't replaced them so don't actually know my exact weight now - but my size 14 clothes still fit so that's a good sign! Good for you doing your Tae Bo - I really should get motivated to do something other than walking, I'm not very fit at all! And losing a stone in a month doing low-carb "not very strictly" is a great achievement, I had to stick rigidly to the rules to lose anything, it killed me!

Welcome Diva, I will add you to the list! I'm sure you will enjoy the challenge, it is very satisfying taking control of debts and the loose change soon mounts up! Post as often as you like, we all get encouraged to hear that other people are saving, and when you decide to bank the money I will put the amount next to your name on the first post

Honestly what is wrong with me?!!

I was going through a draw in my bedroom (FlyLady style ) and found ANOTHER collection of pennies. I must have been so terrible with my money before to have all this cash lying around.

I have emptied into my big pot and remain firm in not counting it til July 1st.

Congrats everyone else on doing so well, and hey to all the newbies :T

Keep up the good work Peeps! xx
