  • I'd like to say a big thankyou too. After setting BF loose on Singapore Airlines all afternoon, we've come up with 2 tickets to Christchurch next March for £530 each, which is half what we were expecting to pay! We have to stay a week longer than planned to get this rate, what a shame!!!

Seems like the sale is now over, at least for dates in 2010?

I was one of the lucky ones - I got return flights to Christchurch for myself and my fiance for £339 each, inclusive. I bought them first thing Monday morning though. We are going out there for our wedding, and it's made the budget look an awful lot friendlier.
  • I was looking earlier today and the cheapest flights I could find to Perth in 2010 were arounf £566. Whilst I was looking I hit refresh and all these flights disappeared and only flights around £736 are available. I guess this is the 'standard' fare for the airline.

Does anyone know if any further seats will be released? There's over a week to go of the current sale after all!

Singapore Airlines released the equivilent of this offer in pretty much every country they operate to. So people in Oz & Nz & US & Bali & Bangkok have also been taking advantage. Singapore Airlines has undoubtably bolstered their coffers with this excellent offer, however, I'm not sure if they actually have that many more economy class seats to play around with and release as a lot of their flights are now pretty full.

However, a cheeky tip would be to check Singapore Airline's website at around 18:30 on Monday as I have a feeling a few more seats will be cropping up around then ;)

I got an eamail today from flightcentre.co.uk advertising cheap flights to Oz, NZ etc but as they don't do online booking, you have to phone, I don't know what the deal(s) are but for anyone still looking for a bargain it may be worth checking out

Oh, I really hope so! We've been planning (and saving!) for years for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia in 2010, but can't go until various exams are out of the way - so end of June, earliest. It's agony seeing all the brilliant offers on at the moment and hoping like mad they'll be extended/repeated....:D

Hope everyone who was lucky enough to bag a bargain has a great time!

Adelaide is £735 during Feb and March 2010. Maybe they've changed their minds.

No, the cheaper seats have been sold. Any more pointless posts?
