  • I'm getting a little annoyed with this sale. Whilst I don't doubt that some people have recieved bargain priced flights, I've logged in twicetoday to see fares at lower prices (the 389 rate and 566 rate), clicking them has done nothing but take me to a new page but the fare price then reflects the higher (736) price. What on earth is going on....talk about frustration!

It appear they have all gone now - I spent 3 hours last night typing in each and every combination of daes but to no avail.

Starting 2014 goal of seriously cracking my debt! If I wouldn't buy it full price - why bother in the sale :rotfl::money::T:j

Affordableflights just offered flights at £467 for October.
Should I wait until tonight or is this as good as it will get?
  • I to have been fortunate enough to get Christchurch returns next Feb/Mar for £395 all-in (last Wednesday) [can't believe my luck!]. Although I'd been using the Singapore Airlines website (with some difficulty), I noticed that Trailfinders were making the same offer with NO credit card surcharges (even for AMEX!), so I let them do the searching - very efficiently. I also needed an internal flight, but the best Trailfinders could offer was £91! A few minutes on the web allowed me to book it on Air NZ for next March (with seat reservations!) for £23! This will be an interesting trip!

Has anyone succesfully booked any flights under this promotion in the last few days? The Singapore Airlines website seems to come up with £300 flights when you do a search, but as soon as you go ahead to book, the price doubles. I spoke to a lady at Singapore Airlines but she was in an Indian call centre and it wasn't a very productive conversation, but she seemed to be saying that there are very few flights left under this promotion.
