Hi I managed to get a flight from LHR to Sydney and then single open jaw out of Perth in November for £440 with Netflights. The price on the Internet was £397 but we wanted a stopover in Singapore each way. I had to add on to my initial booking a flight from Manchester to LHR return which cost £120 per person (which I thought was diabolical). We are flying on the A380 been waiting to do that since it came out. In case anyone doesn't know, flying with Singapore Airlines gives you great prices on hotels and stopovers give you Boarding Pass Priviledges which means you can go round the Bird Park and other places.

Been to Singapore many times, great place and if you want a good hotel, try the Allson on Victoria Street near Bugis Junction. We stay there every time we go and the staff are on first name terms with us. The other thing is, please don't miss out if you can do a stopover, you are missing a great country.

    Regards,

    Holiday Bob

    Hi guys!
probably I can't make the deal as I am not so flexible with the dates, but how can you verify the availability in different dates?
    with kayak? how?
  • On Monday I booked my economy ticket for a mere £415 all in to Perth via Singapore and return back to London, plus my Mum booked a Business seat for the same journey for only £2014!! If it wasn't for this brilliant deal, Iwouldn't have been able to visit my sister for yet another year!

I also got the message saying that the site was busy, but I just refreshed it a few times and got my tickets booked!

there are still some flights available to Australia. I couldnt find anything for New Zealand though :( and havent seen anyone posting that they got flights there.
i was looking last night for 2010 deals. Netflights checked all manchester flights and found nothing still available, but sourced heathrow flights out to sydney and back from melbourne.
Online, i found there were still deals available on singapore airlines website- if you put travel dates in , then check the flexible box- it brings up prices for varying dates in a grid so you can see which combination are cheaper.
    Fantastic deal!! :T
  • Gutted, it seems I was too late. My cousin's wedding is in NZ next Feb and I've been keeping an eye out for cheap flights to take the family. Does anyone know if there's any way of being alerted if a sale like this comes up again with Singapore or any other airline?

Any help or advice would be grately appreciated!
  • I'm too late too, only saw email this morning, and as of today, cheapest to Christchurch from LHR is around £700 each in Feb next year. Nuts.

Netflights.com, sign up with them and they will email you bargains. I got the email from them telling me about these flights on the 15th June. They email out lots of flight offers.

I saw that some flights were available.. wish I could afford even at these low prices.
I wanted to go in December but don't think it will be possible.

Tisambo: I've just been on the Air New Zealand site, and they have an offer on at the moment, ends on 23rd June though!

Here's the link if you wanna check it out: http://www.airnewzealand.co.uk/bookings/web_specials/specials/cheap-flights-to-new-zealand-auckland-wellington-christchurch-economy-airfares-specials-from-london.htm

    Hope that helps a bit!

    Bella :)
