It's Graham Norton now, so you don't even get a bit of Terry, Tete! I can't stand Graham Norton sometimes though, so I might end up switching it off myself and putting a DVD on. I have the house to myself Saturday night so I'll have no one to bug!

There! Took my longer to pick the colour scheme than the target! Picked £800 so I can look supercool when I go past it. (Check that out, confidence!) I'll be back to my crazy saver lady self in to time, and this time my dearest ma-ma and sis..tar can swivel!

I think Saturday night can be spent catching up on reading if eurovision is a let down. Seriously thinking of getting OH to block all my online shopping haunts so I don't go shopping over the weekend when he's not here.

My lord, doesn't it get tiring being right all the time? I'll go up it to £950! Just remembered my sister is giving me £150 for the Wii at the end of June sooo, still do-able I think.

ETA: She's busting chops today isn't she Birdie? We should rent her out to people who don't know of MSE in debt, I'd make my £950 easy!

I need a bit of harsh Dinah talk - I'm well behind on my £5 a day challenge and also counted in my Quidco earnings from last month (naughty naughty). I promise to do ebay listings right now! My dooyoo record has been appalling too. Bad Lara!

Also bought OH birthday present today so it's been a spendy one. He saw a shirt he liked in Debenhams on the weekend but it was £48!!!! Got it for him today on the 25% off day for £33 plus free delivery and Quidco. Still pretty expensive for a shirt but it's nice to have a proper luxury treat for birthdays.

Have been pretty good on the NSDs, only spent £1.60 this week and been cycling all week except today. Should be a cheap weekend as I'm going home. L x x

Second choice, the teaching, he wants to teach sciences, but his degree is in law, and his Irish a-levels are actually only equivalent to AS-levels, so it seems no one will let him do a PGCE. He was waiting to hear back from Durham but nothing yet. So it might mean he has to do a second degree in order to do the PGCE.

I only have GCSE's (hangs head in shame) yet I was allowed to do the PGCE course. It was done around work on afternoon and evening per week, but of course you do need to get teaching hours on top of this. The only other qualifications are have are only relevant to my job so I don;t think these were taken into consideration...actually thinking about it at the time I only had one extra qualification, since gained two more but never EVER again!
