    Afternoon everyone

Just been looking around our shiney new home. Think we just need a few touches to make it warm and snuggly like the old place - one of Dinah's paintings up on the wall and a few of Cinny's buns should do it.....mmmm, lovely.

Northern Rock are complete !!!!!! - I spoke to someone this am who said the money would be in my account within 10 working days so I got very annoyed and wrote them a snotty letter but before I posted it I got a letter from them saying that now they had my acceptance declaration they would draw up another loan agreement and send it to me and when they received that they would put the money in my account within 10 working days  so the snotty letter got amended and got snottier. Looks like it's going to take weeks to get my money and I've told them they'd better take into account the fact I was still making payments and they would owe me more than they did when they sent the first letter. I'm so annoyed  in fact even more annoyed than that :mad::mad:

I did manage to do a good money saving thing today girls - I wanted a plant for my lounge cos my current one is on it's last roots as it were. I went to the local garden centre and the plant I wanted was £20 so I got a little version, which was £2. It'll look stupid in the massive pot at first but as my mother always said when she bought clothes waaaayy too big for me 'you'll grow into it'.

I've also been to see my new boss and had a telephone interview for some ad hoc work doing medicals for insurance companies on a self employed basis, which I'm hoping will make up for the shortfall in wage that I'll soon experience. It might also make it worthwhile doing my tax return each year as last year my self employed earnings from MS was £120 and this year will be £99. I just never seem to get any :wall:

Right, off to pretend to OH that I've been slaving away all day while he's been working xx
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

Praise indeed from Pavlovs Dog there - a name I think I know from around and about and someone I think of as one of the long term site guardians or something!

Ohh a new thread, just read the first post and hadn't known about most of that. Is such a lovely storya nd great to see you are on road to getting your own house!

I have been a bit naughty today as well and went to town. I bought a skirt from parimark but am taking it back as didnt try it on and is a bit too small round the hip area! I did also buy a flowery top from new look which i love and a pink vest top, both will be good for holiday.

Hi Dinah, Happy new thread! I am a lurker and have read your last thread and it has kept me going with my debt. Good Luck in saving for your house deposit, if Martin could pay his house with cash so can we all!

Aw now c'mon, if you've read the last thread you know I'm ambitious, NIM will cry if I tell him I want to make enough to get the house in cash!

Edit - Now i think ive found the site but where are the scratchcards under. god i feel useless.

On Butlins it is on the second tab across, and it's second one down on the right hand column, it says FREE in little letters and has a picture of a fish on.

On TAB you have to open a bingo room, then it is called 'lucky break' above the chat screen.

Off to book Paris flights now, still can't get my head around it being 'allowed'.
    Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
    Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off

Think we're going to go for 5 days for our one year anniversary.

Think I just fell in love with NIM even more. Logged onto his email to get a code for the galaxy free books daily, and (if anyone has gmail they'll understand) the 'summary' next to the name in the second email down said 'Been with 'Dinah' 10 months today, and its bliss'. Awwww think I'm going all melty inside!

Awwwwwwwwwww, I just went all a-goo!

My lovely nails are back! Whoop! I rang my Mum on the way home and asked where she was, she was just going into an Indian restaurant with my Dad so I invited myself and had tea bought for me! Mmmmm!

Well done on the MSE plant Pilchard, all of mine seem to be dying, I do try to look after them but I don't think I have green fingers! Maybe I should just give in and buy fake plants?!
