Oooh, on the subject of free scratchies (I'm new to this whole thing myself!), which sites do you use? I'm on Butlins (made about 80p so far! Whoop!) but are there other sites who do them too?

I think NIM is more excited about the meet than me. But then I'm a worrier. Should I have booked a table? What if it isn't open? How will we recognise one another? What if we have nothing to say? What if we get lost on the way there? And so on and so on.

What if you have nothing to say?! I don't think that's going to happen :rotfl:

PS. You should definitely take it as a compliment - you and NIM are becoming the stuff of legend!

ETA: Birdie, I use Butlins and Take a Break - Butlins are generous with their bonuses and stuff but I win more with TAB, generally 25p and often 50p - woo!

just found this and I have to say although i dont *know* you as your MSE friends know you I could almost burst with pride reading your first post and seeing what you've achieved in 10 months.

    way to go girl :T :T :T

all the very best for your debt free future with NIM :j

Don't know how I missed this post earlier, but thank you so much that's so sweet.

Scratchcards, I do Butlins and Take a break, in both my name and NIMs. There is a big post somewhere I can dig out that lists all the companies that offer then, most are in the Bultins group and you're only supposed to have an account with one of the group, but I get the impression a lot of people have an account with all of them.

When you sign up, you have to deposit money, right? Can you take it out again without betting it? I just feel like I'm going to deposit money in all of the sites and forget about it and lose it!

And just park on the road you mean? I'm going to have to set off about 12 at this rate to give me enough time to get lost and find myself!

Seriously, you lot are terrible 3 pages already, and you're worrying you won't have anything to say? :D

I stayed in my treat budget, by about £12, would of been less but the big issue man cornered me, he's lovely really! OH just strolled in, but I've sent him upstairs for a nap before we go out, hot weathers getting to the poor lad! I got some nail varnish that's meant to be 'peach' just put it on and it's blummin dayglo! Woops!

ETA: Birdie, you put your £10 in, play your free scratchie then take your £10 back out. Then you're left with 10p or so credit so you still get your free scratchies!

Deposit £10, play a free scratchie, withdraw your £10 loosing whatever bonus you got. Balance is then 10p, and the £10 is back in your bank in about 2 days, really easy to do. You need an in-credit balance to play the free scratchies, this is the best risk free way of getting it.

Yeah, pretty much, you just have to make sure you're in credit (ie do a scratchcard or two) and then you can withdraw your deposit - it's usually a £10 minimum withdrawal so if you can spare it then you're probably best of starting with £10 and taking it straight out. TAB has a bit a over complicated ID process where you have to send (or scan) a copy of your passport, bank card and something else which is a pain but good payouts! I have 4 accounts (2 in my name, 2 in OH's) and I'd say we withdraw £20 a month. Which is nice :D

ETA: What Dinah said! I'm too slow and convoluted for this...
