Are you thinking massive wedding or little MSE wedding?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Lots of people but not formal is probably the plan, we have loads of friends and family and the most important thing is they are there. Some of our friends hired a marquee and a patch of grass and it wasn't even £2k, and NIMs only desire is there is a pig on a spit there, so we're sorted! Figure a big party will be more fun than a formal sit down affair anyway. Plus they're Irish, they're all gonna get plastered and dance anyway. And I don't care, because I'll be going home as Mrs-NIM. So long as no one throws up on me.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wow that's quite a dress. Bit OTT for all but the most princess-like wedding though I fear!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds like you need to visit the farmer that NIM worked for to see if he get hold of his pig. Also sounds like you need either a wholesale beer seller or a brewery!
Money wise 40K is a shock. We were lucky when OH and I got married last year. My mum and dad had money saved and OH's parents. So we had the smaller bits and the honeymoon.
One thing we did that was special for us was to get a handmade cake topper - http://www.caketops.co.uk/.0 -
Lovely dress Birdie but I'd need a corset to make my tummy that flat! Health and Safety make you measure internal temperature of pigs, so might have to get a company licenced to do pig roasting to do it. Argh, I'm already considering the internal temperature of a pig!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
