Yes his reaction was 'what took you so long?'! He certainly seemed to genuinely be happy for us at any rate. Although on the downside he has indicated hes likely to say no to funding the house development as he thinks it is too big a project.
I am starting to freak out over how we'll afford a house and a wedding. I'm going to put all our money into lottery tickets I think....
Will start phase 3 later today, need to get a report done this morning. Hadn't really considered looking at dresses yet - although mum has already gone into raptures that we can go to wedding fairs now. Oh Lord.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

currently browsing that ring website, so many pretty things, sigh....
I'd be happy with any ring though to be fair! Having looked at the chain shop jewellers we'd pay nearly £3k for that ring on the high street, so I guess I could roughly argue that it is moneysaving because we're getting it for a lot less?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh and in money news, we made £329 in the last 3 days selling stuff on Ebay. When we come back from Ireland we're going to have a massive ebay session as money is going to be even scarier now trying to save for a wedding and a house. I estimate we're going to need to save about £40k still to cover both. Combined take home salary over 1 year - £30,780. Eeek!!!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
