Lol I think my problem with cars is I want my next one to be either an alfa GT or new style alfa 157, which are both pretty big and fancy!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I know it, which is why I couldn't go down to a supermini or anything when mine gets a bit past it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I wouldn't say no to an Alfa Dinah! OH's best friend has a fancy one (don't ask me the model... it's black, that's all I know!) and it is absolutely gorgeous, I'm sold on Alfas after being driven around in that!
We're going to our friends' for dinner on Saturday and we have to bring dessert, any ideas what I should make?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

If you want to go summery then an unbaked cheesecake (strawberry, banana etc) is light and fruity, or how about a passionfruit roulade? Light but sweet and pretty easy really. If you're not bothered about the season then go for a more traditional yummyness then a new york style baked cheesecake with some berries, or a toffee and apple sponge pudding with some custard or ice cream is easy enough but would need reheating, or a banoffee pie, or I make a good chocolate moussecake with ginger crust, but that ones not suitable for pregnant women or children.... sounds somehow seedier saying it that way! Can give recipies for any of the above.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Well we are all chocoholics and since we'll be on the booze anyway (the girl is my downfall, she always manages to turn one bottle of wine into 3!) I like the sound of the chocolate moussecake with ginger crust!
I think I need Cinny's brownie recipe too though, just for me!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
My mum has just bought a brand new fiesta , outright as well not on finance. She gets it next month, she is scrapping my little old car which i sold to her for 250 quid in for it.
I am so jealous, I want the car! She gets it in September.
All these cakes sound yum! The people who do reveal just brought in cupcakes, so tempted to go get one but stuffed from a pizza express lunch.0 -
Okay guys, thinking caps on please. Need a name for my made to order cakes and desserts business. Planning on having two strands, doing for restaurants/farm shops etc which will be more storable, easily divided items, changing seasonally, and one for regular people to order one off baking (cookies, cupcakes etc) or birthday cakes etc for special occasions/sunday lunch etc. But I need a name for my company thingymabob.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Mmm chocolate moussecake with ginger crust sounds amazing! Is there any teeny tiny chance that it's diet-friendly? Really? No? *sigh*
Wendz, sounds like your mum got a good deal there! Have you suggested that she might like to give you a share of the 2k?Or of the car? It's not the pretty pretty raspberry one is it? (I'm with you Birdie!) I've grown very attached to my supermini, despite it being a massive change from the 2.5l V6 beast I was driving before!! Although I wouldn't say no to an Alfa either...
Dinah, sounds like you've got most of your empire figured out already! I'm sure you'll think of somethingI'll let you know if I have a brain wave - any name ideas so far?
