I love those dresses. That is the sort of thing I would like, would like a shorter wedding dress0

Nope not telling you what I would have, it would jinx it!
Grandparents have been round for dinner to celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary this evening.
Now NIM and I are making spreadsheets.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

My god, you're no fun
54 years, wow! My Grandparents are coming up to their 60th. I can't wait until me and OH get to our 50th wedding anniversary (yeesss, i know we need to get married first) we can have a cake and I can buy myself a new pair of penny loafers!
Those dresses are lovely Lara! That's the kind of thing I'd like too.
Done my boots diets for today and I'm sitting pretty at 1235calories. Turns out I've been reading my scales wrong! The marks I've been counting as 1 pound is actually 2So I started off at 10st 2lb and now I'm 9st 10lb? I think!

50 years is amazing. My poor Grandma lost her husband (my Grandad)more than 30 years ago so could never make it that far. She has never had anyone else though bless her.0

Wow 54 years - that is something amazing to aspire to! Glad you like the dresses, I thought I would go for a little meringue instead of a big one. The wedding planning has ground to a halt Poddle, much like yours with real life getting in the way. I have hardly seen OH for the last 3 weeks. He has had only 2 days off and usually works until 10 or 11pm. So there has been no chance for looking at or talking about anything. Hopefully in October it will be better when our projects have finished, or perhaps we will also wait until 2011 like Birdie. What about you Poddle?:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Morning,
Cinny those shoes look like skyscrapers, are you good at walking in heels! I'm terrible but perhaps that's because I go up to about 6'3" in them and feel enormous!
Lara those dresses are lovely, I love the pink sash, but I think I'd still like a long dress as I don't get many opportunuties to wear something long ans swishy and would enjoy it! Poddle do you not have a DOTD you'd like to share? I do like to look!
I guess those are wedding spreadsheets Dinah? How would saving for a wedding affect the house deposit? I have to laugh at all your grandparents' monogamy - my granny has been married four times, I always thought when I was little that everyone had been through that many spouses by the time they were in their fifties!
Didn't get to see G-Force last night as didn't think to get tickes before we went for food and when we turned up at the cinema the queue was down the street (what's on?!) and we wouldn't have got to the front of it in time! It's annoying when you know that no-one else will be going to your film though, you just want to push to the front. So went to the pub and had a chocolate fudge cake and glass of wine instead
Am annoyed with myself for forgetting to cancel my Graze box till this morning - I see that the money's gone from my account so I don't want to cancel now in case they don't send the box that I've paid for! I wasn't impressed last week at all, I got apple which seemed a bit brown and unappealing, and some raisins with a few almonds and some cashews - I only ate the nuts and vowed to cancel but forgot, grr!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I can't believe that I missed all of the shoe-dress talk yesterday! All of them are lovely lovely beautiful and I want to go shopping now!
What a shame you didn't get to see G Force last night Tete, it's so annoying when the cinema is too full of Orange Wednesdayers to get in!
I'm too tired to bother with work today, I just keep thinking about being back home tomorrow night! I'm a bit upset that I won't be coming back here though- no more Krispy Kremes!
I can't believe your Grandparents have been together for 54 years Dinah! Wow, I hope OH and I make it that long!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Damnit I reported Tete again!!!!
I have written to the MSE team each time and said - don't ban Tete, shes lovely! So hopefully they'll not get you in trouble!
Oh gosh no, no Wedding spreadsheets. I'm still half refusing to talk about it until he asks properly. (£600 saved up now)
These spreadsheets were to simplify our budget. Basically, instead of having 8 or 9 savings accounts whose log on details I can't all remember, we're going to have one spreadsheet at the best rate, and have a spreadsheet to keep track of which money in there is for what purpose. NIM has built me a great spreadsheet to keep track of what goes in and out of all the accounts. There is also the added bonus that I can work out if we are over or under spending on things we have budgeted for, and adjust accordingly. He is also going to build me a spreadsheet to track our spends, and another one to track the extra income we make, so we know where it comes from, what are our major income earners etc, how much we actually are bringing in each month and to look at where the droughts are. Enough spreadsheet talk, I know you've phased out!
I'm still getting the graze boxes for now, I set it so I only get pineapple or cherries not cheapy apple or grapes, and then I get the dried fruit for a quick boost I can keep in my bag.
ETA: And now I reported myself as abuse!!!!!!
Oh and look at my sig - NIMs new spreadsheet has enabled me to update the house deposit target.... getting there very slowly!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I didn't think they were that badI'm a shorty though so the bigger the heel the better! I haven't worn platformed ones yet but I've been told they're pretty easy to walk in!

Ugh, I hate it when that happens! It's even worse for Unlimited card holders, they make up this 'special' line for card holders but it takes about 3 times as long as it just leads to the most gormless employee on one till
Very spendy day today - got to take Pippin to the vets this afternoon for his Booster - thinking it'll cost about £30? Going to nip to Boots after dinner too as I need new body scrub (used the last in my tub last night) and some new body lotion as my mum and sister have stolen my S&G one  So need to set £20 aside for that as I'll no doubt end up buying various other S&G bits in Boots :A At least it's payday tomorrow!0
