Oh and on that note, I've found a programme that might help me design my website (s). Going to have a fiddle this weekend, see how it goes.

Oooh, you certainly have a willing guinea pig here! I really don't get how you can send cupcakes in the post either, will be an interesting experiment!

I get how you can send brownies. Or cookies (ish, once sent a box of gingerbread men to a friend without a note. They all arrived decapitated, he thought it was a bizare threat!). But surely the frosting goes everywhere with cupcakes?!

So long as you don't get into debt Cinny I don't really think you need to worry for a few years.

Pretty shoes here I come! No need to worry about me getting into debt, if this site has taught me one thing it's that debt = complete no go area.

Did you manage to find the girl who does the cupcake thing online Dinah? I'll have a scout around and see if I can re find her for you!

Nope didn't find her I'm afraid. I'm not under any illusions I can make cakes as a full time wage, but might make a nice on the side wage if I can work out health and safety regulations!

Ooh, guinea pig here too if you need one! I totally don't understand how you post them either, surely they'll be a mess?

Yay to pretty shoes Cinny, your dress sounds lovely. I'd mentally put aside at least £200 for the MOT and now I'm totally considering a new dress with the money I've 'saved', but New York is still in the back of my mind... Might have a wander into town tomorrow... :o

Shoes Cinny, kurt geiger have a fantastic sale on at the moment, some lovely shoes in it to. I have several pairs of theirs and they are just so comfy, and they last forever, that I would much rather pay £50 in their sale for a £200 pair of shoes that I'll get 100 wears + out of, than go to New Look and spend £25 and only wear them 5 times because they are uncomfy!

Even at the very basic level, won't they flip upside down if they go through a letterbox. Actually I doubt they'd fit through a letterbox.... hmmm.

I was wondering that about the letterbox? Maybe the idea is to have them delivered to a workplace or something for everyone to share?

Yep, debt is BAD and MSE is good! The sooner you learn the lesson the better! I suffered depression quite badly for a couple of years and spending recklessly without thinking about the consequences is quite typical behaviour.

BUT I'm so grateful that I will be debt-free AND have a much better attitude to money while I'm still young(ish- 30!) enough to do something about it. I know it's still not ideal, but I'm not going to pretend I didn't enjoy being reckless and spendy, and I definitely feel like I'm paying the price...

I digress! Good luck finding some nice shoes, Cinny!

And good luck with the hare-brained baking scheme Dinah! I'd love to know how to safely post a cupcake and lol at the threatening gingerbread men :rotfl: Brilliant!

Our postman doesn't like our letter box so most things over basic big (but not overstuffed!) envelope size ends up at the sorting office- I'd worry that they'd eat the treats! Maybe you could find a cheap courier who'd deliver the boxes carefully by hand?!

I must not look at Kurt Geiger's sale.... I. Must. Not!
