    Friday night, I don't 'do' Friday nights... well, except my daily coffee clicks (Firefox add on to load up things I need to do once a day like check various accounts, onepoll, some competitions scratchies etc), and I have about 30 competitions to enter, I'm thinking I will 'do' tonight until 8.15 when NIM gets home. Given the job people haven't called I'm guessing he's going to need a drink and a night off burried in online games.

    Nope haven't started the MB, NIM is going to have a good read of all the info on Tuesday, and hopefully we'll have our first go then.. although might wait for the new Barclays card to arrive.

    Well done on getting ahead of the wedding deadline!

    Augh, I used to have an 'all emergencies' fund but I put it in the ISA so I had enough to get the higher interest, I feel really uncomfortable not having that safety net now! Car tax due at the end of the month too, and if I only get 6 months then it'll be due again in the run up to Christmas ... why can't they just pay me double? :D That Honda looks very space-age but I like it, I've never heard of one before! What's LPG?

    LPG = liquid propane gas.

    If you had an emergency you could always take it out the ISA Tete, thats my way of looking at it.

    Try to get the 12 months tax, getting the 6 months is so ramped in price, its the equivalent of 200% APR or something! You'd be better getting the full 12 months on a credit card for how much extra it costs!

    That's true - I could have done that with the permits - duh! It's £31 for 3 months or £108 for a year. It all adds up for 2 cars! For some reason they don't do it for a nice sensible 6 month period, who knows how these people work?!

    How long until they need renewing Poddle? If its more than a month make it your challenge to make £216 from selling on ebay or something so you can buy them and not worry for another year.

    Challenge accepted! They're not due now until end June so that seems very doable.

    I've listed a few things on ebay which end tonight so I'm getting all excited about that. I've bumped up a couple by making a few bids from OH's account, but there's always a little flurry of activity when auctions end and they've all got watchers - one old vest top has got 16 watchers. Madness! That reminds me, must tell OH what I've done as otherwise he'll wonder why he's getting emails saying he's been outbid on some ladies clothing :D
