Locked myself up in my room as there seems to be a family domestic going on so I thought I'd use the time usefully and catch up!

I like those Honda cars Dinah, shame they cost so much. I'd love a Nissan Pivo too, they look sooooo neat!

Did my cineworld card online, me and OH seem to be going almost every weekend atm so i'll be saving lots of pennies. Even got to upload my picture so I look semi-decent unlike on my old one where the camera guy got me talking then just took the picture with my mouth open. Nice! Be using it tomorrow when I go with my sister, and OH is getting one too so we're planning to go see two on Monday.

Your day off sounds lovely Wendz! And very MSE with the voucher! :D

Poddle, bidding up items is cheeky but not bad. I'm guilty of doing it for people! :o We'll be banished out of MSE kingdom for these confessions!

You ladies (and NIM) have fun tomorrow! And have a nice night everyone, smells like teas ready!

    Evening all!

Been at work all day and not been feeling well either so looking forward to an evening of just relaxing now!

Not got a day off until tuesday now, so hoping that after a good nights sleep tonight i will be feeling better - otherwise these next few days will be absolute hell!!

Hey all, I've decided I'm going to post once a day on work days so I can address it all at once. Hope the last 3 days have been less nerve racking for you lot than for me.

I think I'm the front runner for the job as regards ability and attitude but the reason they havn't said who got it yet is that one of the MDs of the company wanted to see what my motives were as he felt I was only going for it for the money and had no interest in the field. So I had to meet him today and deal with that.

Basically I was totally honest about my reasons for going for the job. I needed full time and I thought I would be good at and interested in the work. I didnt see any reason to lie to them but I'm being given a bit of stickk for not bending the truth enough. Is it wrong to stick to my morals regarding honesty even when I'm struggling to meet my half of the bills?

Anyway onto the stuff I saw that I had comments on, lost the ones I had for yesterday and cant remember what pages they were so sorry about all that I missed out.

Yay OH just text me to tell me he has been promoted again :j, he gets 20p extra an hour - it all helps!!! And he is not eligible for management bonuses and incentives! :D

When you say not do you mean now Flower? Otherwise I'm very confused.

Good news for my OH too, he'll be moving back to his first branch, where he really loved working, in May. So it cuts out all the crazy petrol costs and parking fees. Plus he's finally getting his training so he's heading in the way of a payrise too!

Congrats to him Cinny but what is it he does?

How did the interview go NIM?

I'll know for sure on tuesday but thanks to everyone for the good wishes keep em up for a couple more days and I'd say I'll get it.
Oh, and I bought a bar of Galaxy earlier for a book code and I've gone and picked up a non-promotional pack :( I'm off to my bed for a good hump as Lara would say!

Tete, I had a go at lara for using it inconspicuously, you know what I saw in it and your using it anyway? Are you trying to provoke me into getting myself forum banned?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Nah I'm a little angel honest :A

Have fun tomorrow! I'd guess you'd find Dinah by following the sounds of and Irish man complaining about his jumper.

More likely to be moaning about rude people on the other end of the phones or else stupid egyptians who I thought were going to try kidnap my Dinah.

Payday (like every Friday, but I can still get excited) I think I'm going to see the Hannah Montana movie - Lock it, Pop it, Polka Dot it - with my sister tonight, or maybe it's tomorrow. Not 100% sure on that one! Popped some pennies into savings too. Feel zen and at one with all things money related.

Is that that Miley Cirus girl whos fame is due to daddy doing "Achy Breaky Heart"?
Yes I'll definitely watch out for a bobbly jumper tomorrow, and long dark hair (on Dinah not NIM, as far as I'm aware!) not sure what I'm looking for with Birdie...

No bobbly jumper and the long dark hair is only on Dinah...anymore at least...I kinda miss it sometimes...uhoh
Is he supposed to find out today? I have to agree with you, I think the other guy will probably get it and to be fair if I were him I'd expect to get it if I was good at my job and had been there longer ... it's just horrible when you're the NIM on the other end of it.

Great show of faith there Tete ;) Nah all jokes asside until I had that meeting with the MD I was convinced it was going to the other guy. And is there always a NIM on the other end? I thought I was unique?

NIMs an optemist though and he knows he'd be good at it, one of the reasons I love him is he's a bit nieve and optemistic when most people would accept defeat without even trying. Yep he's supposed to hear today.

If I had the attitude you have I wouldnt be living here now, besides if I dont go for it and risk the failure I'm never going to achieve anything, and yes I prefer it when whats right is what happens and I always hope that it does go down like that I know the world is a cold cruel evil place full of thieves, tax men and politicians. Although is there a difference really?

Naturally curly, spend most of my time either straightening it or pulling it back into a plait so it doesnt annoy me!

Suits you curly and you know it does...even if you are asleep next to me at the moment.

Afternoon girls! I've been stuck at the scary long nail lady's desk all morning so I'm having MSE withdrawal!
I hope NIM gets the job, it is nice that he's an optimist, people are too cynical nowadays and it's lovely to see people who haven't been crushed by life yet!
When you're looking out for me I'm 5'6'', longish dark hair (that'll probably be wavy as I'll be playing with my new curly dryer thing in the morning!), very pale skin and green specs, or massive shades if it's sunny!

I'm considering the Ireland rugby jersy just to make sure I stand out. The red jumper is out of the question as its been to the farm once or twice as I needed a jumper and my farm one is missing. And thank you birdie, nice to see someone else with some form of optimistic outlook, even if it is only to admire optimists. Even if I am only a part time one.:p
Thanks, will have trouble not calling you all by your aliases! Ugh, finance should not be allowed on Fridays! :(:(

Aye Dinah called me by my characters name the first few times we spoke. even though we'd been emailing etc for months. But dont worry about it Tete, It just takes a while to get used to.

Think it's cos his car is older and more to the point he drives like he's entering the Teesside-Hetton rally - I'm sure each morning he gets into the car trying to beat yesterdays commute 'record'.

Not beat, just equal. And to be fair I drive well. I know what I'm doing and could probably work for topgear...i wish.

Because you've been going on about how much you REALLY want this job, so to then go in there and say 'yeah, its kinda a just for now job to get me off the phones, until I become a teacher/get into the police - where is the sense in that?! It's make your life a lot easier if you got it, you're not lying and saying its your dream job, which tbf they'd never believe, but I don't see any point in playing down how much you want it and continuing to work 48 hours a week at two places for less than 10k a year and running yurself ragged.

Maybe as a crash test dummy dear?

Looking forward to the meet today, just need to face the iron so I actually have something to wear on both halfs of me!

Hope you guys had fun at the meet today!

Tried to be as MSEish as possible today, only spent £30 which is good to say I had my dinner and tea out, went to the cinema, bought a dress (£15 from £50 in the topshop sale) made £20 by selling some games too. So technically only £10.

NIM - OH works in Ladbrokes. The interview sounds hopeful though, fingers crossed for Tuesday for you!

Hope you ladies and NIM have a great weekend (even those who are working!) I'm off to watch Britains got Talent and eat chocolate biscuits. Night!!

So I think I may have scared tete and birdie from ever visiting this thread again. I sometimes come across as a little(read a lot) scary or strange. Hopefully I didnt scare ye too badly and ye dont leave us. Also D is convinced she came across as scary but I wouldnt notice if she started summoning the hordes of hell as her minions.

Anyhu hope everyone else had a good day. Anything interesting occuring with everyone else? No one would come on the rides with me at the fair so I couldnt go on any of them. And to boot my numbers didnt come up on my bookies mystery shop.

And now all the flights that I could afford to take to get home are being pulled by ryanair and aerlingus. Today has not been my best ever day.

Super over chatty and I think I made Dinah look like an ogre when shes nothing of the sort. I tease her over her having control over everything in the relationship. Which she does but its cause I delegated her to do it as she is 100 times more organised than I am. Also I'm a little manic around her, kinda like a little puppy, which if your meeting us as a couple before meeting us on our own can be a little scary. Probably did some other stuff but I was too entranced by all the chocolate.

Basically I'm really sorry if I scared anyone and if I did your more than welcome to hit me on the nose with a rolled up newspaper next time you see me.
