I think thas lovely that he likes to read, its a great hobby to have plus it stops him being bored or obsessively tidying!

Oh I do love him reading, it's just funny how obsessed he has become! My parents are big readers like me; we all think my brother's a freak because he only reads one book a year when he's on holiday! OH was so funny on Wednesday, he said to me 'I want to go to Hogsmeade and go to Zonkos and eat Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans and drink Butterbeer, it warms you from inside!', he was also really tickled by Dumbledore getting an earwax flavoured Bertie Botts bean in the first book; bless him! He's gutted that he jumped on the bandwagon too late and Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Botts Beans are no longer available to buy in the shops!

Oh and in other news, I got to pick 2 more free books from Amazon Vine last night. You can take up to 4 books a month, but I could only get 2 as I haven't reviewed last months products yet (mainly because they haven't arrived yet!). Was gutted though, I picked two from the email they sent me, but there were more online I didn't know about, including one from Tracy Chevalier, one of my favourite authors who hasn't released a book in years! Hopefully the ones already requested will arrive soon so I can review and request that one!

Also, payday today. Can't actually move money about until Monday though, as I can't remember which payments I have a direct debit set up for and which I don't, if I have time I will check tonight. Would be a lot easier to have them all direct debited.

Morning everyone! Payday!! Going to get my spreadsheets out in a minute and see what needs to be paid for this month ... MOT for one :(

Do you get to keep the books Dinah or just borrow them? Haha, I got into HP late too Birdie, a few years ago, and when you've got book after book to read all at once for the first time it does take over your life a bit! My OH hates reading, unless it's something he can learn from  - last book he read was about clouds and weather. He says reading stories is a 'mug's game' - the big philistine!

Enjoy your day off Lara, lucky thing!

No you get to keep all the books Tete. There are also DVDs, computer software and even techy gadgets if you get in there fast enough!

Hmm, never tried reviewing a book though, not sure how good I'd be!

On the subject of food - I've swapped from sugar in my coffee (16 cals) to sweetener, which apparently has no cals, no carbs, no fat and no protein. So what's in it? It must be made of something, and surely it must be a little bit bad for you?!

That's so cool that you get to keep the stuff, and you can get a good mix by the sounds of it! I've only done a few reviews, I don't think I'm very good at it!

Tete, I think sweetener is Aspartame (sp?), it's got nothing in it but according to the hippy dippy lady in my office who was all against microwaves because they give you brain tumours (???) says that it gives you cancer. Its what's in Diet Coke and I'm not giving that up! TBH everything apparently gives you cancer so I take it with a pinch of salt, if it was really unsafe they wouldn't be allowed to sell it!

Might be made of dust?! I dont get how they do Diet Coke either.. there has to be more than 1kcal in a can!

Did my boots diet this morning and put my food in up to dinner time. Brings me up to half my calories for the day. Not bad! Planning on doing Pilates again this afternoon and 30/45mins on the dreadmill.

Jealous of your Vineyreviewerness Dinah! Sounds fab, have fun with all the free books. Once you've reviewed them will you be able to sell them on as second hand on Amazon if you don't want to keep them?

Yeah mum refuses to have any 'light' products as shes determined the artificialness of it all is worse than a few calories, unfortunately I'm still young and stupid enough to worry more about a few calories than potential health damage. I'm hooked on that food focus site, although yesterday was a huge fail as dinner with the pastor and his wife was unbelievably rich!
