I'll have to remember that holey doughnuts are better for you! Although I love the chocolate filled ones... yummy! We're off to get some tonight to take home for OH as he was devastated that I'd had 1 (so he believes...hehe! More like 3...) without him! We can't go tomorrow as we'll be going straight home from work but they should be OK in the boot of the car for a day... if I don't eat them! Gah!

You're making me feel very bad Cinny with all of your exercise! The hotel gym is always packed and the machines are too complicated for me so I've only been in once and I gave up after 20 minutes because the machines I used scared me and I couldn't work the weight thingies. I'm hoping that swimming works out better for me!

I'm so jealous of your week off Dinah! It'll be fantastic to just spend your time painting and baking!

I got it off here of course! Yeah there are a few things not on - I had to improvise on my cup-a-soup earlier so just chose the one with the nearest calories. Just put general aerobics? I can't get the hang of the CT at all - don't have the co-ordination for it!

Yeah everyone seems oddly suprised how I can handle it considering I can't walk in a straight line when sober let alone drunk!

I'm in pain!! Not looking forward to the morning :o

Just looked up the calories for mine and OHs take away for Saturday, 1104kcal for half a pizza! I have to say, completely worth it :D will just hit the exercise hard Saturday morning and take OH for a long walk on Sunday to walk it off.

Wendz - Yay for free food, have fun at the party!

It's my payday too, but then it is every Friday so I don't feel I can join in with the wooing :(

Wow I wouldn't have thought a pizza was so much, boooo. Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned Cinny.

Birdie, how's the hotel - is it nice? It must be nice to be staying there for a few days at least. Yummy free breakfast! OH and housemate are doing my head in - would love to have a bit of peace and quiet for a few days. My work colleague's sister tests out holidays and spa breaks as part of her job! So lucky.

Looking forward to seeing you paintings on your new site Dinah. Have you tried out those blog sites like wordpress, they seem to be quite easy to set up?

Bit of a pants day at work today, our project that we have been working on for a year now is quite up in the air. Boss is stressed and unimpressed with a short temper, me too really. Given that there's only the three of us in the office it can get a bit heated.

Thank goodness I am off tomorrow!

Sorry to hear your day was pants Lara! Enjoy your day off tomorrow!

The hotel is alright;, rooms are quite nice and the food is OK, not great but I can't complain! I had a nice little swim and went in the sauna, I'd taken my glasses off to swim and I didn't know where the sauna was so I was wandering around blindly for a while before giving in and asking the lifeguard where I needed to go because I couldn't see the signs!

I think I may have created a monster in my OH; since Monday he's read the first 3 Harry Potter books, when I got home last night he asked me to sit quietly whilst he finished the exciting chapter he was reading! I only brought the first 3 to the flat with me because the others were all hard back and took up too much space, he was gutted when he found out- he had to go out and buy the 4th one today and is sulking because his Mum kept him out the house all day so he couldn't go home and read! He even rushed me to get off the phone earlier so he could read! What have I done?!?!

I think thas lovely that he likes to read, its a great hobby to have plus it stops him being bored or obsessively tidying!

  • Dinah - Sorry if this is like telling your Gran Mother to suck eggs but you really need to make sure that any images you are going to use on your site are within the website folder. otherwise when you up load it the images won't be there. This is a common mistaken that my pupils make all the time. Good luck with it all.
