I've been pretty good today, but I've just ploughed through 2 boxes of mikado Had only eaten 1,200 kcal before that though so it isn't like I've gone over 2000kcal :rolleyes: Did manage the walking though so atleast that's done!

You know when ages ago when I sent off for more info on some homestudy courses? I'm being completely hounded by them! At least 2 calls a day on my mobile and now they're phoning the house once a day :rolleyes:

It IS exciting, he even said I can bring the cats (which of course wasn't an option, but glad he volunteered it all the same!) Dinah he works in Durham and would be happy to commute that distance, especially as he's normally in work for 7.30. We'd both love to live in Newcastle.

Not sure when (if!) I'll hear about the job, closing date was 14th but don't know a shortlisting/interview date. If their HR is anything like ours could by anytime before Christmas...

Hello! I found out that the hotel has wireless so I'm online! Whoop! Work was OK today, the people are really nice (even if they do talk funny! Every second word is riiiiiight and I keep expecting Vernon Kay to turn up!).

I weighed myself yesterday and I've actually put on a quater of a pound! I totally deserve that though, thought it'd be more because all I've eaten is junk and I only made it to the gym once! Must try harder!

Glad to see you back Tete, and I'm very glad you had a good time (with exciting talks with your OH!), sorry about the bruised knees though!

Right, I'm off to get in my jammies and read, I'm on the 7th Harry Potter now and I can't put it down! I read it so quickly when it first came out and never read it again so I can't remember what happens in it, it's much better this time around!

I'm reading 'far from the sodding crowd' at the moment. It's interesting although not a page turner.

Hi Birdie, glad everything is going ok! I went to see Harry Potter last night and can't remember loads of stuff from the 7th book, like who RAB is... might have to refresh my memory one of these days.

Currently reading The Voluptuous Delights of Peanut Butter and Jam, but its pretty tough going as a lot of it's in African slang and I keep having to flick to the glossary. Read My Sister's Keeper on hols, loved it. Thought I'd predicted the end but I was wrong, I'm intrigued as to how the film changed the ending now so may have to try and see it if it's still out...
