Evening Pilchard, that sounds exciting!
I am going to jump on the weightloss bandwagon too (or more aptly heave my podgy body onto it), so here it is...
I Wendy am going to make a concerted effort to lose 14llbs by September 30th 2009. Being of sound mind and slightly squishier than desired body I understand that this is only 1 1/4 llbs a week, and therefore I can still have the occassional treat, but chocolate is no longer acceptable as the first thing to pass my lips on a morning"
It's been a good few pages, but I've totally forgotten everything I was going to say...duh...
Um, well done Flower on the ebay - it all adds up!
Boo Poolie, I'm very jealous! My OH is a bit the same - he's got a permanent six pack that he can't shift *sigh*
Dinah, re: New York - DO IT!!
Birdie - love love love the dress! You'll look amazing! I don't like that weird model stance where they do chicken arms to make their collarbones stick out...
That's all I can remember at the mo - but hi to everyone else
hopefully soon I'll be able to check in at work, but it's so busy and I thought compulsive MSE-ing in my first week was taking the peaLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
I'm mortified. I am a lot bigger than I thought!!! I'm also a stone heavier than I was when I went to Egypt! How on earth did I manage to buy a size 8 dress last weekend?!
Weight: 10stone 11lbs.
Height (makes it seem better!) 5"7
Waist: 30"
Hips: 38"
Bust: 38"
Thigh: 23"
Arm: 11"
Scarily hourglass then....
Considering we all grew up with metric, it's nice to see everything in imperial on here!!!
Went to the gym today, didn't have much time but managed 186cals burned on the cross trainer. Going to go again tomorrow, I WILL stay long enough to get through 400 cals, so about 30mins on the cross trainer and a few weights.

You guys realise I may cheat on this one in order to win.
Anyway here goes.

I've had to edit the measurements slightly but hey
Weight: 12stone 11lbs I win this one
Thigh: 22.5 (Not sure this one affects me)
Waist: 33.5
Hips: 38 (Do guys really carry weight here?)
Chest 38 (Want this number to go up to be fair)
Arms: 12.5 (Want this one to go up too)
Anyway I'm in and starting today heheThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
I will join you all in your quest to loss weight but I can't submit my measurements and weight because the computer goes funny.
Weight $"^*st $*(lbs
Waist '#~ins
Bust ~+ins
Hips &%ins
I will measure again and post the inches/weight loss instead, I am sure I will get the computer to work so that it shows this information.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳

Aww no, I can't believe you're all talking weight loss tonight when I've been so naughty at book club!!! I had a big wedge of strawberry cheesecake, AND chocolate cake :rotfl: Feeling quite shamed.
As we're not having a summer hol any more I am going to cry off the weight loss challenge and enjoy my podginess a little longer. No bikini incentive.
Had a good day at work, something big is up with the client, but it isn't us. Phew! Got to be in work for 8AM though (sorry ladies I normally don't start until 10am like a big slacker). Beastly.
p.s. Tink there will be nothing left of you if you diet too hard! x x:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Morning everyone
Well it's my last day at my job (finally!!!!) so I'm going to go in and do as little work as possible and enjoy the cake one of my friends is making (she is to cake making what Michaelangelo is to art!) and then I'm going to come home and pop my vital statistics down and get on the weight loss bandwagon, if that's ok
Just been looking at my Virgin CC and I'm not sure that I will be able to transfer the Northern Rock loan cos it only says about credit cards and store cards. I've just had an idea of how I could possibly have got round it but it's too late. I think I could've paid NR with a CC and then done a balance transfer from that but I've cancelled all the other cards. I think I'll call Virgin later today just to check if it is possible to transfer, though. If not I'll have to think of a plan B.
Right off to work now to skive and eat cake!!!!!!Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
I'm still saying no to posting my measurements! I did them last night and they aren't too bad though.. it basically said I'm a circle but hey. People like circles!
Have a nice last day of work Pilchard! And eat all the cake that's humanly possibleWhen (and where!) do you start your new jobby?
And I agree, the NYC plot does thicken!! When is it you go? (Sorry I keep on reasking, all the holidays ect on here really throw me!)0 -
I know me, if I don't post them I'll keep cheating myself whereas if I have to be accountable I know I'll be good! Plus they scared the crap out of me last night, so I can keep looking back and thinking 'nope, gotta loose more of that!'. Aiming to loose 4 inches from all eventually (Well, cept my arm!). Am being good today and drinking water, even though its yukky.
We've ordered NIM a contract phone. Because I'm already with o2 they offered us a much better deal than on the website (we got 600 mins and unlimited texts and a new phone for £24 a month, the one on the website is 100 mins and 200 texts for about the same ammount!). He spends at least £20 a month on his phone now and he does need a new phone, so this seems like a good deal.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I have to 'fess up, I ate 1/3 of that chocolate muffin last night! That was before weighing myself and it was quite dense sponge...at least 3lbs worth! Ahem.
I didn't go to the gym last night either, slap my wrist! I went to the driving range instead with OH who had bought some 2nd hand mens clubs (gotta love Oxfam!) and wanted to try them out. He has been telling me for weeks that I don't need ladies clubs, it's a marketing scam etc... I couldn't use these clubs at all, I kept missing the ball, when I did hit it it went in the wrong direction! I'm now on the lookout for cheap ladies clubs! OH can't drive right now because he can't pivot on his bad knee but he can chip because you just stand still and swing your arms so he was doing that and even when he's just messing about he's better than me (we went on the chipping green on Sunday and he hit the ball using just one hand and it went straight in the hole! Talk about lucky shot!), it's very discouraging! Golf was supposed to be *my* thing and when he's back up to full fitness he's going to be better than me! It's very tiring being with the ultimate competitor!
I'm going to have to annoy my bank again today, I've lost my online log-in (I think OH may have thrown it out in one of his cleaning frenzies!) so I had to go to the bank and ask for it which involved a long phonecall to the interent bank people and security questions etc, the woman wrote it down on a bit of paper, I took it home and now I can't find it! Grrr. I went on my old laptop thinking it may be saved on there but OH had cleared all of the cookies off it so log-ins etc have been cleared off it! I'm going to have to call them up again and try to convince them I'm not crazy!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Why'd he clear the cookies?! Has he stopped throwing all your stuff into the spare room now? You've stopped making noises like you want to kill him at least! How are you progressing with getting the LHA to buy the flat?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
