Get some mates out and get them out to share - they think you're generous and you can have one or two without guilt and not have to have them eyeballing you all evening until you crack.
Good plan! I did intend on giving them as a gift, but dunno if they'll last that long! I'm so hungry.
Your sandwich sounds nice Wendz, but yeah, probably not the best start to the challenge!Although, chicken is ok! And there's cabbage and stuff in the coleslaw right? One of your 5 a day!

Just made it worse by putting crisps in it. I have an apple and banana too though.
I am a bit of a diet coke addict, I know it can't be that good for me even if it has no calories.0 -
Not good for the teeth or brain as fizzy with lots of artificial sweeteners, but fine for the hips!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I did a rushed lunch today so healthy or not I don't know! Had about 3/4 tin of tuna (with 1tablespoon of mayo mixed in) an apple and a banana, have some caramel coffee thingys in my bag and they're about 73kcals so will do me until tea tonight. Which will no doubt be healthy as mum has become the queen of under 600kcal teas. Thankfully though, they're going away on Wednesday so I'll be able to try the lowcarb diet.
The £25 from returning some clothes still hasn't cleared on my CC, I wish it would hurry up. Want to edit my sig!0 -
LOL@ Dinah about the revelation that potatoes are carbs! Anything that makes you feel bloated when you've eaten it is going to be carb-full! The wierd thing about cutting them out of your diet is that after a meal, even if you've had too much, you don't feel bloated. When I have pasta etc I can look pregnant because my stomach expands that much, if I just have meat and green veg (and butternut squash 'chips'...mmmm) I'm full but I don't feel like I'm going to explode!
I used to hate eggs in all of their eggy forms but I'm getting better now; I can now eat them fried, scrambled or omeletted. I still can't stand the smell of boiled eggs though, yuck! I had to quickly introduce eggs into my diet once I couldn't have cereal or toast for breakfast, scrambled eggs are the ultimate quick filling breakfast!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I never feel bloated so I can't use that as a test! Well not unless I eat LOADS, but it doesn't matter what of! Have a fat free peach yoghurt and some cherries still to last me the afternoon.
NIM is going to join, but he seems reluctant, he says only 1 pair of his jeans are no good because they are too tight, one are too short (why did you buy them less than a year ago then?!) and one are too ratty (granted). So he's going to go to the Next sale/I'll ask mum to see if there are any for him when she is there.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hang on, my cherries say they have 36g of carbs in them - how can fruit be bad for me?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Especially with a little bit of Cajun spice sprinkled on! Yummy! I never used to eat B. Squash but now it's one of my top vegetables!
I will definately have to try that! The only problem is, I can't peel them! I always seem to get ones that have skins that are stupidly strong! And the packets of ready-prepared chunks are expensive for how much you get.
Seeings as I have just got hold of a bread maker I will not be trying the no carbs thing! And I have just had crumpets for lunch. Seems as if I'm eating enough carbs for everyone on this thread who is cutting back!
