Why is it so hot and sunny everywhere except where I am?! Gah! Not that I'm complaining though, at least it's a bearable heat in the office.
Definite Monday morning feeling here too, was out of the office for a day and a half at the end of last week so obviously I've got a million emails to catch up with. A colleague's Dad also died over the weekend so he won't be in, and we're looking at flowers from Interflora and it's looking like £30 for a basic bunch and there's only three of us in so that's an expense I could do without, but obviously I'll pay it.
Having as bit of a panic about money at the minute, got my car insurance renewal quote and I'd forgotten that was even coming up, on top of needing spending money for the holiday in 2 weeks and Alton Towers this weekend. Made £77 on ebay last night, was a bit disappointed that my bags didn't go for more as I had loads of watchers. Should've been unscrupulous and got OH to bid them up a bit but I'm too nice. Still, with that and the £11 I got recycling my phone and the £50 I had in £2 coins, that's a good chunk of Euros taken care of I suppose!
Has everyone had a good weekend?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
It's very hot here! I was in London for Hard Rock Calling on Saturday and it was scorchio! I couldn't believe it when I got home and saw all the flash floods on the news.
I saw some Blur coverage from Glasto and it looked great! I saw them first time around and was quite jealous of you seeing them, Tete! Sounds like you made a fair bit of spending money this weekendI know what you mean about ebay though - I got my OH to bump up a couple of my items last time and I felt really bad afterwards, even though it was only about £4!
Hope your cat gets better soon, Dinah! Well done on hitting (and surpassing) the 10% mark on your house deposit too :T

Its a good payday as getting my backpay for my pay increase. That will soon go though after rent, bills etc. Also paid for a trip on holiday on credit card that we now need to pay for and some tickets I am buying off a friend. Still left with a little more than normal which is great.
Well done one the bags Tete, a good amount even if you were hoping for more. Sounds like an expensive month for you!
Thanks Poddle! Was a fun night.0 -
My ebay day yesterday was kind of decimated by poor kitty being ill, then grandparents coming over, then NIM whineing he had man-flu, so that is now the plan for tonight, again.
Don't know how people dare to use their OH to bump up ebay bids - what if he ends up winning it?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
