I need some new books, might have a look round when doing the carboot on Sunday, see if I can get a few bargains.0

Good plan. I stick to RiSi in a vain attempt to keep book neutral.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sunday is an Ebay day for me, so rain doesn't bother me luckily. Was trying for 100 items by the end of Sunday, but that would leave me about 72 still to do, so might just try for as many as possible.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

don't think im going to make my £500 target I set for before July 7th!!
I got taxed £50 today because my tax code is all over the place and hasn't been sorted out yet
I'm gutted because I know allllll about the palava about trying to reclaim tax, and it means I will get taxed the same amount again for the next few weeks probably
Its so lame!! I'm trying to see the positive that I will get about £150 one day when I reclaim it and that will make me happy and be a boost!
I'm working tomorrow too now which will be my 13th day in a row!!
I did however transfer £200 to my saver - £190 from working, and £10 from scratchcards, so only £300 to go!!
Wendz - you look really pretty and the event looked really fun! what is it that you actually do?
Cinny I hope you're ok, Maybe just do as the others have said and relax the budget a little, only having 20p to last you must be stressy, what if something happened and you needed some money?!
I've sold about 10 things on ebay, god knows how you are going to do 100 Dinah!! good luck! doing these and packing them and knowing which sold to who and paying paypal fees and posting.....!!!!!!!! It nearly killed me!! But I am going to try and work out the (hopefully) profit tonight and I'll post it, shame all the money is locked in paypal as OH and I share and he is switching bank accounts which is making everything complicated...
It will go towards the £500 though hopefully.
Think I'm going to buy OH some aftershave this weekend for his graduation, I know its not sentimental or long lasting but he wants it, and I have a £5 off fragrance voucher, and I'm hoping I can get the NOTW £5 off boots voucher too.... (and ue one of those 300 points when you spend £30 or whatever!!)
Nice to see NIM back here by the way!!0 -
I work in a media agency as a Tv buyer, so i buy advertising space on TV for L'oreal. The party was held by the tv company who own the channel living etc.
The aftershave sounds like a nice idea, at least it is something he wants!0 -
Ooo, your job sounds fancy Wendz!
Feeling like the family outcast this morning, got yelled at by my brother and sister for not finding the MJ text jokes being sent around funny
Treated myself to a bikini and some sunglasses yesterday so I could spend today out sunning myself and now it's really grey outside! Meant to get up to 21deg later so Ican live in hope. Off into town for some charity shop rummaging, I tried sale shopping yesterday but couldn't bring myself to part with the money  Just kept thinking 'that's £20 I could put in savings' grr!
Hope everyone has a nice weekend! Good luck with your 100 ebay items tomorrow Dinah.0 -
It sounds fancy but in reality is mainly filling in excel sheets and a lot of maths which after school i swore i would never use again haha.
Have a good day. That is good that you are thinking you would rather save the money, wish I could get into that mind set. Have fun in the charity shops.
I am going to look for anything else to add to the carboot pile and then this afternoon we are going to see OH's sister and nieces.0 -
Your job sounds cool Wendz!
I am beyond tired this morning! We didn't get back until 1.15am (it took us an hour to get out of the car park!) and then I had to get up at 5. I thought I'd be nice and sleep on the sofa in the spare room so I wouldn't wake OH when I went to bed and got up 4 hours later; this was a big mistake, I woke up at 3 with a really achey neck! I'm too old for such nonsense! The concert was worth the tiredness today though, t'was awesome! My friend took pity on me and bought me a McFly hat, then got jealous and got herself one and our other friend got on too! We looked really cool...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Passed the 10% mark! Went and opened the joint account and regular savers, made the opening payment to the regular savers - exciting stuff!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
