I'm really thinking of doing a bit of ebaying again, been having a bit of a clear out and I've got a few bits that I'm loathe to put in the charity shop because I just paid too much for them! Is the hassle worth it though?? Oh and I supppose I'll have to wait til my camera is fixed tooWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I'm never going to be a short down from a tall so they were always a mad purchase!
:rotfl::rotfl: Had to laugh at that!
Hopefully i will be able to get a bit of the money back from these jeans, i can certainly say i have learnt my lesson though!!
Going to get OH to go through all his stuff on his next day off, he has so many clothes that just sit in the wardrobe never being worn. Fingers crossed all this ebaying will help with our savings for the big move!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I agree with Tete re: the Galaxy, I took advantage of the free entry (very MSE!) but I liked to get the chocolate bars for the extra chance as well (and because it tastes yummy!)
If we're discussing mad spends, I bought a pair of 'bargain' Nine West boots a couple of years ago. They are lovely but they're a size too small! Why I thought I'd be able to get into them is beyond me! It's not like you can make your feet shrink! I still can't get rid of them though, they're so nice, every now and then I try them on and hope that they magically fit!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Tete - i definatly think its worth the hassle, especially when you get a good amount from something, like the other day i got £25 for a dress that has been sat in my wardrobe for a year!
Im sure Dinah will agree, just think of all the money she made from ebaying!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Done the Nine West thing too. A pair of round toe-d baby pink slingbacks with a 5inch heel from Kurt Geiger. Cost £120, size 5, 1.5 sizes too small for my feet. Although quite possibly worse is that I actually still wear them, even though they make my feet bleed!
Work have got me utterly depressed and convinced I won't be here in a year, so I'm eating Thorntons chocolate cake like there's no tomorrow (which I'm in doubt there will be, just as I got debt free too!) and fantasising about drinking the wine tonight while I watch Kirsty's homemade/The Apprentice/English Heritage (if I can pursude people to watch The Apprentice on 4OD!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I've just put a few bits on ebay for the same reason. I've had a couple of Fat Face things do really well, I sold a kaftan type thing (with tags) for just over the retail price although it nearly backfired horribly as I didn't send it recorded and it went AWOl in the post for a few weeks. Lesson learnt! Everything now listed with recorded delivery
I've done the free entry on the Galaxy but I'm planning to do undo this morning's run and the MSEness by going out to get some choccie! It can't be that bad if I walk to the shop. NB. I don't run in the open - I suffer from severe wibblybum, so any running is done on the treadmill with a wall behind me to protect the public. Clearly this isn't going to improve while this Galaxy promotion is on...
Nice Wednesday night plan Dinah! I'm a football widow on Wednesday evenings so I do pretty much the same. In my dressing gown if I'm feeling especially indulgent!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
LOL Poddle, I love the Wibbly Bum comment, I'm a fellow sufferer!
Just rang OH and found out that he got home half an hour ago and didn't bother to tell me as he is too busy killing his friends on xbox live! Boys! Good to know he's feeling OK I suppose!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Ahh, boys! Definitely good that he's okay - if it was one of us we'd be on the sofa with vast quantities of chocolate and possibly on the phone to our mum/bf trying to get sympathy!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
