Work have got me utterly depressed and convinced I won't be here in a year, so I'm eating Thorntons chocolate cake like there's no tomorrow

(My colleague just sent me that, not sure if it's because I sneezed earlier) Not that I'm trying to stop you eating cake or anything!

Yeah might give ebay a go, got a couple of leather handbags there that I don't like any more, and a Gap cardie that itches (though I won't put that in the description!)

Wibblybum is an affliction that puts me off running I have to say Poddle, I've been doing steep fast walking on the treadmill but might up it to a jog one of these days... if I can get my balance.

Ooh, I just treated myself to Stella McCartney's perfume at dinnertime with my boots points, took me ages to decide, but I'm glad I got it now it's lovely :)

Ahh, boys! Definitely good that he's okay - if it was one of us we'd be on the sofa with vast quantities of chocolate and possibly on the phone to our mum/bf trying to get sympathy!
I'd be totally pathetic if it was me, my Mum would have to be there looking after me and fussing over me! It's what Mums are made for! I think OH's mum feels a little pushed out now as he doesn't need her so much, I bet she'll be around most mornings for a few weeks to look after him when I'm not around!

I thought cheese was higher in sat fat than chocolate? Diets confuse me I think, I'm a bit old fashioned and just go by the old 'fruit and veg good, cake, bread, meat and cheese bad' mantra!

Cheese is good if you're on Atkins, as long as you're eating all the right foods with it you'll lose weight. On Atkins you have to stay away from fruit as the sugar in it is carbs which are bad! Even though I'm not on it anymore, I still look at fruit, bread, rice and pasta with a wary eye as I've been indocrinated by low-carb thinking!

My ex boss was on Atkins for about 6 months, she lost a whole bunch of weight but was sheer hell to work for during it - on one occassion she threw a pan at me! I felt she got her cumuppance though since she put it all back on and then some as soon as she came off it!

If fruit is seen as bad I hope there is loads of veggies on this diet, I'm a huge supporter of 5 a day as an absolute minimum as there are just so many minerals in fruit and veg that can't be gotten through suppliments, and it really upsets me the damage I know NIM is doing to his long term health by missing out on most of these.

MB-ing is starting to scare me and I haven't even tried it. Donglemouse has made 50k in less than 3 years though, so I keep thinking 'if only I could get my head around it'.

Yup that's what I'm trying to do at the moment, I think my spreadsheet fear isn't helpful to the task at hand though. I'm sure this ought to be a manly thing NIM can explain to me!

Right, on top of my to-do list tomorrow is to send OH as many MB links as humanly possible! I can see it being something he could get his teeth into, he's always up for a flutter!

I've done the free galaxy book thing a majig. Thankfully my Dad is driving us home tonight so I won't be able to pop anywhere to grab a bar. I have a kitkat waiting for me at home though, to be snaffled while watching some annoying people in suits making total bums out of themselves. Although, I'm worried I might be getting a telly crush on James.

I've got that Excel thing bookmarked Birdie, it's my work for tomorrow morning. Then I can show off with all my high tech tables, Ta! :D

All of the leafy green vegetables are allowed as well as things like leeks and butternut squash (I never even tried them before starting the diet, now I have them all the time!). OH loves his veg but is too lazy/inept to actually cook it for himself so he goes without which drives me mad, if I don't eat well for a few days I can really feel it and make a point of trying to get veggies in, but it's difficult because OH boils them to death and they taste horrible but I have to eat them! We have a steamer pan for a reason!
