Morning Everyone!
Just got back from posting the book that sold on Amazon - £3.25 to post! Seeing how it's technically paid for, I'm still classing today as a NSD
I've seen that book before Tete, looks funny! Hope your dad likes it. I've decided to go with the classics - fudge and socks (not packaged together of course) There's nothing he really wants, and he gets through socks like god knows what.
Got some good news today, planning is all go for the house! Next step is too sort the footings out then price up how much it'll cost to build. Dad thinks it might be done within a year once they get going, scary thought!0 -
Oh yeah, they don't hang about! Great news and how exciting!! Will you move straight in then or do you still want to wait two years even if the house is ready?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Good news about the house Cinny! You must be so excited! Btw are you 18 or have I just imagined that number?!
My Dad thinks Father's Day is a big con so I've just got him a card. Thank god, cuz he's so hard to buy for anyway!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I think, or I'd like to think, I'd move in if it's finished within the year. I'm in two minds if it will be though, I mean Dad has been promising Mum a new bathroom for 8 years now, so if that's anything to go by

Zig - I think if I didn't mention Fathers day to my dad it would pass him completely. I'm 18 though, I don't really want to move out until I'm 20/21 (cause for some reason that sounds like a grown up age) but that house would be too perfect to pass up on.0 -

Well, you seem really mature, and in a good relationship. And if I had the chance you have when I was 18 I would have grabbed it! Any reason you wanna wait til 20/21? Just cuz it seems more grown up? Age is only a number I guess
Ooh I don't even know you and I'm excited for you lol!

Don't plan your life to a timescale Cinny, you can end up dissapointed. Just see what oppertunities come your way and be open to them. Are you still planning to do that course?
I thought at 24 I would be married, with a house, and a baby due within a year or so. I have a slim chance of the house but no chance of the others, but I'm okay with that because I'm happy anyway. I used to get really worked up that I was missing my 'deadlines' for things, but I see now there was a plan for me I just was too focussed on fitting it to my own ideals.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I guess 10 years ago I would have thought I'd be married with a kid by 27, and lots of my friends are, but actually I still feel way too young for all that!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Thanks Zig! The 20/21 thing is because it sounds more like a grown up age
What course Dinah? I have many planned! Accounts, Cake decorating and so on! I only give myself time scales so I feel like I have some control over my future, when in fact I have near no control of it. Scary stuff!0 -
The accounts one I was meaning Cinny.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I don't think that you should worry too much about waiting until you're 20/21 if the house is ready to live in earlier than that. You've got a good old head on you and a supportive family so you'll do well if you move out at 19! I think everyone matures at different rates, OH moved out at 18 whereas I didn't even consider it until I was 21/22 and it still took me until 23 to do it!
