Morning! I'm feeling a little tender around the armpits this morning, I think OH set the butterfly press thingy a bit heavy for me!
What have you got your Dad for Father's Day Tete? I still don't know what to get my Dad! We haven't got MIL a birthday present yet and her birthday's tomorrow! Gah!

I'm actually hoping the boxing is madly energetic, lots of music to make the time fly by and the like, could be fun. Did 20mins on the cross trainer last night and 20mins on the weights and mats, usually I do 40mins on the cross trainer but I forgot to take a bottle of water last night and I was gasping!

Dinah, have you not run out of things to ebay yet?! :p You've given yourself a huge challenge with the £20 a day challenge; I know it's not extra income but you could add savings and stuff like other people do. Just for this month ;) You do really well with the MS though, like Tete said, it's an extra £40 that isn't overdrawn money!

Wendz, I always feel a bit guilty, but pleased, when something like that falls through if I'm skint! My friends think nothing of going to town and spending £50 in one night. I nearly died when I was charged £7 for a southern comfort and lemonade in town once.

I wish I had all your motivation to go to the gym! I want to start cycling, cuz I find the gym really boring. Your weight chat was v interesting too.

Hope everyone has a good day :)

2 of us = £20 a day. Nah we've got loads of stuff still to ebay, if we havent touched it in a year, we don't need it! Counting savings just seems like cheating to me, I mean if I was buying it anyway, I'd get the saving anyway, its not like I'm actively doing something to get this saving. Plus I normally move all the £20 a day money into my savings account, if I counted savings this would actually decrease my available money each month, rather than adding to it seperately.

GAH! Well, it was just an old card, but I thought on that I hadn't shopped around last night and when I looked the book is £1 cheaper on Amazon than Play plus I get NUS discount so I've ordered it from there instead but when I try to redeem my discount code it says I've already used it. OK I thought, maybe you have to request a new code from NUS each time so I gone through the rigmaroll (?) of being reminded of my password for that site, and it's just giving me the one code, saying it's valid til September and can be used on cumulative orders up to £1500 - which I've certainly not surpassed! There doesn't seem to be any email address to complain to either, just the unhelpful 'Help' pages! I've a good mind to pay the extra on Play if only I didn't have to change my card details!

    And breathe.

Ahh of course, it's between both of you, that makes sense!

Yeah that's true, I guess it depends what you do with the extra money from the challenge, whether adding savings makes a difference. In your case, it obviously doesn't! Well I haven't been counting savings cuz when I have savings it's usually cuz I've bought things on offer that I don't actually need.

That ebay year rule is a good one. I should use it. I'm a bit of a hoarder and keep stuff forever. I'm running out of space...:o

Well all my old house full of stuff went into the shed in the garden, and we hardly ever go in there! Thing is a lot of it is books, which I haven't read. I think at this point I have about 1000 books on my to read pile, its more than a little daunting.

My clothes are ready for a little cull I think. Have 5 pairs of shoes, some unworn, ready to go on ebay too.

Tete, I had that problem a while ago. I think I just thought forget it, and ordered it from Amazon anyway, and then when I went through to the payment bit it had taken the discount off automatically. Did you go right to the end? If you did, then I don't have a clue, sorry! :o

Zig- I did the same, thought sod it, because I had about £3 of dooyoo money on there anyway and ordered it, when I saw your post I went back and viewed the order and it did take it off! Yay! Feel silly now for getting so angry! (It's the Utterly Impartial History of Britain Birdie, something about upper-class idiots in the title should appeal, Dad's very much a Labour man!)

You're right about the year thing Dinah, a friend of mine was moving recently and packing up loads of old cassettes, covered in dust, that were still in the boxes from when he'd moved in - and I'm exactly the same, it's mad!

Hmm, I can never really get away with the cross trainer, I don't think I'm co-ordinated enough! Might try the abs class tomorrow if it's on rather than gym - it's really really hard work but brilliant.

I really like the cross trainer, but I can't use the treadmill or bikes cos of my dodgy knee, so my only real cardio is cross trainer or swimming.

Glad you got the book sorted, I need to remind NIM to send his dad a card.
