Not long to go now till we get the new car.

Had to run up the garage yesterday as their copy of the insurance documents different arrive and they gave me another form that needed to be back today.

Went up this morning and she (the Car) was showing her bottom for the garage. Obivously just getting a good wash and polish before being allowed to come home.

Did say to the dealer I had just seen it sitting in the garage getting sorted out. He laughed!

Roll on 5pm. Have nearly emptied the petrol tank in the old car. Annoyed since I put £20 last week so have been having to go out to use the petrol since I can't get it back out of the car!

Not willing to try and siphon it off then Poolie? I wouldn't be either! I like the idea of her showing her 'bottom'!!

Eeks, where has all this work come from on my last afternoon?! Gah!

    Hi Dinah,

I remember you saying about the £10 a day thing and that you do the scratchcards - which one(s) do you do?

I'm gonna try and make ebay my main source of income for this challenge cuz I don't wanna mess up the tax part of mystery shopping! But scratchcards would be an easy way to add funds!

Zig, I do Butlins bingo for free scratchies, I think Dinah uses Take a Break too. I'm up to £1.70 profit and I'm in constant hope that I'll win pounds not pennies!

Wendz, a girl always needs underwear! My drawer bursts at the seams :o

Unlike my DRAWERS that burst at the seams cos my treadmilling isn't working :rotfl::rotfl:(Sorry, couldn't resist!).
Well the Barclaycard ploy didn't work. I told them I wanted to cancel, they asked why, I told them I was cutting back and would now have only one card to pay off and was going to look for another card with 0% balance transfer to move it to and they just said 'ok' and put the process in motion for closing the card - bummer. At least I can look for another 0% one. Not sure if I'd get the egg one cos I had one before but I'll have a look at that and virgin etc and see what's available.

Thanks Birdie and Dinah, I'll go and have a look at the Butlins one then.

By the way Pilchard, I think Natwest are doing a 15 month 0% balance transfer at the moment :)

And now for some good news. After the Barclaycard failure I went on moneysupermarket.com and applied for a Virgin Card at 0% and they've given it to me. So that's 16 months at 0% - I'll have well and truly paid it off by then. They've given me a limit of $6200 though, so I'm going to reduce that as soon as the card is ip and running. I don't want any temptation. As for Barclaycard......that's their loss xx
