I'm very concerned about anyone who thinks 'poke my spleen' is sexy talk.

I've been out at meetings all morning, going to put an hour in then its my lunchtime so more picnics in the car park with my house book!

No details yet Tete as they don't finalise the course details and timetables until the first week of July. They've said they will send me out two brochures then, so I can either pop one through your door or you can email the nice lady and ask for details too. PM me if you want her email addy. And nope no homework (I asked!) although she did say I might find I was enjoying it so much I just wouldn't be able to stop making things! There is a level 2 course you can do after the level 1 if you find you really enjoy it too, which is nice, as often you start something then there is nowhere to take it further if you want to.

'Poke my spleen' is gross! That thread was a bit of a giggle but I was concerned with what people came out with too!

I just did a focus group, well a 1-2-1 chat about a new website and got paid £40 :D So I'm thinking about being a late-starter on the £5-a-day challenge. I haven't got much happening this month, I did all my ebaying last month but I will get paid for a couple of MS, so I'll have to think of something! I took £20 to the bank in 10ps and 5ps - can I count that?

Enjoy your lunch in the sunshine, Dinah! I guess that's where everyone is, either working hard or out worshipping the sun. It's hot out there! I'm smug as I put on some factor 15 to walk to town but there's an awful lot of pink/red shoulders on display. Silly peeps.

Didn't get a chance to go to the Library this morning to get some books on starting a business. I think I'll need to devote a day completely to researching starting up Georges Bakery (still not sure on the name, but my only real progress) and thankfully OH is at work Saturday so that's that sorted. I've got the WI next Tuesday too, wondering if it would be cheeky or not to take some cake or something along to sneakily get in their baking good books or not?

Sounds like everyone's been busy this morning! Managed to complete another To Do list so I'm feeling pretty dandy, took my dog for a walk this morning and kept on seeing things I wanted to take pictures of so I've made a seperate To Do list for tonight to take her for another walk and get the pictures. I think I'm getting list fever though, I've made about 3 this morning!

ETA: Well done with the money from the focus group Poddle! I joined a few of them but nobody wanted me.
It's really quite overcast here today, freezing coming across on the Vespa. Radio 2 are playing Summer in the City though which is making me feel a bit more summery. Jealous of all you out there in the sunshine!

Who is George you want to name the bakery after Cinny? While they will no doubt be flattered and pleased you decided to name it after them, you're making a very modern and funky style of cake, maybe you should have a modern, funky image too?

Is not sunny here either, nice to be a bit cooler on the tube though! I want it to be nice saturday for the ball but doesn't look too great.

George was my old kitty who died last year, though it would be a nice way to remember him, specially as he always used to wind himself around my feet when I was baking, I'm open to any other name ideas though as I'm rubbish with them! I like idea of 'something' bakery, just can't figure out the something. Will have to go grab some local papers tomorrow when they come out, try and find some markets to get too.

Maybe ask for suggestions on Yahoo answers or something, see if anything strikes your fancy? Make sure you know the tax/health and safety certification implications before you do anything, especially health and safety, you don't want to get a huge fine because you had the cats litter tray in the kitchen or something.
