Got a call from the car dealership this afternoon.

The car has arrived (5 days early) so it sitting waiting for us to choose the registration number and get the insurance paperwork sorted. I phoned them last week about wanting to get the registration number sorted but OH NO they advised to wait till it arrived. If it has been done we could have had the car by Tuesday.

Anyway, if we can get all the paperwork sorted tonight / tomorrow morning then we can have the car by Thursday.

Sounds like you've got it sorted Wendz! There are tutorials on the internet on how to make wings out of tights and old wire hangers too, if you want to be even more MSE. My sister made some once for a fancy dress and they were great!

Ooh, forgot to say. Jumped on the scales this morning and from just cutting meat out of my diet I've lost 3 pounds over the past fortnight! Quite surprised actually, I've had lots of chocolate, take outs and my diet coke habit is back in full swing.

Well done Cinny! I think you've sent those pounds to me; I really have to sort myself out or the podge will take over! Nooooooo!!!!!

Thats great news about the car Poolie! Best get those fluffy dice at the ready!

Birdie - I'm taking it in stages, cutting down on one thing every fortnight and seeing how it goes! I'm cutting down on snacks this week. Switching them for fruit and what not, bar Thursday, masses of microwave popcorn for the Big Brother launch is the law, right?

Me too, just been looking at pics of Sophie Dahl on the net because I want my hair her sort of colour on Friday, and she's so slim and gorgeous  I actually FANCIED going to the gym today but left my kit at home  Deffo go tomorrow!

That dress is nice Birdie, seemed to me a bit like you were getting your shopping kick by looking for Wendz's costume? ;)

Yay to the new car Poolie, have to say I'm leaning towards just keeping the banger at the mo. Will be having a proper think next week when I'm back from my jollies.

Wendz - Can't wait, just have to hope that the insurance company can fax the cover note to the dealership or by some other means than post. As will be after 6 when I phone tonight means will miss last post so will not go out till Tuesday which means we don't get it till Wednesday if our postie does his job properly.

Am I that transparent?! I have seen a dress on there I like and it's £22 in the sale that ends tonight! Gutted.

I don't like buying clothes off the internet anyway - they're never as nice as they look and they never fit - does that make you feel better?
