    Morning all!
What a lovely (not) day today, the trees are flapping about in the wind and there are big clouds in the sky...not a good omen when I'm supposed to be playing golf this afternoon!
I'm another one looking at my bank balance through my hands, I'm absolutely skint and I don't get paid until next Friday! Not good!
Let us know how you get on with the job application Poddle, it sounds like a brilliant job!
We went to see Night at the Museum 2 yesterday (using vouchers that I've been carrying around for months and resisting the popcorn so we didn't actually spend any money) and we were a little disappointed. I don't know why but it was missing something, even though it did have lots of little funny bits. Maybe I was looking forward to it too much? I love Amy Adams (just because of Enchanted!) though so all is forgiven!

Morning everyone, miserable day here too but I don't mind it when I'm working!

Poolie - thanks so much for that spreadsheet it's fantastic! I feel a bit out of my depth all of a sudden as there's so much to think about, but will have a good look over it. I think it's telling that I only got 6 months' car tax this morning ... and noted the numberplate of a 500 in the work car park so I could plug it into Comfused and see how much insurance might be :o

Payday here so no real looking through my fingers, just looking at my lists and going to take out a big chunk in cash for money I need to put aside so I can't spend it. Apparently it's boiling in Paris at the min though and I'm tempted by pretty frocks. But I'm going to try and clear out some clothes this week so I might rediscover a few things at the bottom of the wardrobe.

Was Tormented good Cinny? That's another one that looks quite good! OH wouldn't go with me to see Young Victoria :(

Birdie I forgot you're golfing today!! Haha, hope you enjoy it!

Tete - Not a problem. Hopefully it allows you to make the correct decision for yourself.

You don't the numberplate to do an insurance quote also if the 500 has any notices on the police computer this may affect the insurance quote your given. Best to base it on make and model then you know your not get a price based on somebody else mistakes. I found my best price on moneysupermarket so best to do the usual 4 (moneysupermarket, confused, gocompare, comparethemarket).

Morning Birdie! I thought NATM2 was missing something too, but then I hadn't seen the first one (until Sunday night) so I thought it might have something to do with that. It felt like they'd built up a good story line, then when it happened weren't quite sure what to do so just sent in a big marble man! (trying to not give anything away for people going to see it, hope you know what I mean! :o) I loved Amy Adams in it too though, and got a little too excited when the Jonas Brothers flew about.
Well done on resisting the Popcorn! OH is obsessed with the Combo deals (seriously, he has a song) he's gets paid this weekend so I have a feeling he'll be dancing in the aisle singing his song come Friday.

Poolie - Nothing like a bit of crab buying for your day off! And I'm really hoping there's a typo in your last post!! :o

Tete - I took my mum to see Young Victoria, OH wasn't having any of it! Tormented was so bad it was kind of good, very corny, but if I'd paid £6.60 to go see it I wouldn't of been too impressed, a fair few people walked out.

Need to think of some ways to make extra money, would love to be able to make £100 spends for Disneyland purely from websites, I'm too stubborn to go back to STP after all the mess with ratings at the start of the year, will have to kick start DooYoo!

Cinny - Where do you think the typo is? Sorry been a long morning already been here since 7am.

Not looking forward to the prospect of getting up at 6am again tomorrow to get to Reading to get this Crab!

Tete - There is usual a box saying you don't have the reg number so it will allow you to select the make and model.

Oh dear, not good golfing weather at all! Maybe it'll get rained off? Or are you kind of looking forward to it now Birdie?

I'm still amazed that the sun's been out all bank holiday and the rain has kicked in for the working week - makes a nice change! Good cinema weather though... I was thinking about NATM but think I can definitely wait for the DVD. I've still got to see Angels & Demons and Coraline before other things come out that I want to see! I loved Star Trek though and it was very cool on the Imax screen, although sometimes I felt it was a bit big.

Ha ha, take a girl to the biggest screen in England and she complains that it's too big:rotfl: some people...

Disneyland sounds like a great plan Cinny, and I'm sure you'll be to make the extra cash, especially if you Dooyoo more infallible and scrummy recipes!

Need to remember to give them a call as ask them to get a crap in for OH.

I feel mean pointing it out now, I just have the worst mental fishmongers image! Although I'm having pre-school memories and remembering is a type of fish! My brain is still warming up over here.

Tete - I think pretty dresses are in order if the weather is that warm! Take thick tights just incase though, hope you'll be able to find some long forgotten dress in your wardrobe, love it when that happens! I meant to say, I saw my French Connection dress in ze 'flesh' in Friday. It's so so pretty! Saw it on my way to the bank so only got £20 instead of £30 and popped £10 into savings.

Been slacking on globaltestmarket, will have to get back to speed with that tonight.
