Hi everyone! I haven't posted since Thursday, bad Birdie! Things were a bit manic on Friday so I didn't get a chance to post just read but now I can't remember what everyone's said so sorry!
Wrestling last night was quite fun, really awful but fun! We got foam fingers and heckled the 'baddies' with some really inventive insults and cheered the 'Goodies'!
Good news too, I got a letter from a local independant travel agents and I've won £100 of vouchers for 'Classic Collection' holidays from a raffle I entered ages ago! I fear that these Classic Collection holidays are quite expensive, but it's worth a look! Whoop!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hello, hope everyone's having a lovely weekend! Poolie, if you wouldn't mind sending me that spreadsheet that would be fantastic - there's so much to think about and compare! I'll PM you my email if that's ok?
Birdie that's great news about the £100 - you never know there might be something affordable for you to choose.
Lara, also good(ish) news about the dentist. I have to admit whenever I go these days I'm more worried about the cost if anything needs doing than the pain!
ROTE- sounds good re. the Tesco card, sounds like you know what you're doing with it.
I'm having the best weekend, went on 10 mile wlk yesterday and saw loads of different animals including a grunty pig! Then out for a fab Italian and home to watch a French horror ('Them' or 'Ils', really scared me), today we've had the house to ourselves so just been lazing in the sunshine drinking shandy and reading, then came inside to watch Newcastle go down (which almost made Boro's relagation bearable) and now I'm off out to the pub to see a long lost friend, tho I think it's gonna be full of sunburned, lagered-up goons who've been on the drink since 11am, so we'll see how that goes! Might go off for a shorter walk tomorrow to try and loosen my bum muscles up a bit and then it's a four day week. Hope everyone else is having a nice time!! (Sorry for the protracted happy ramblings, think the sun and shandy have gone to my head!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Evening everyone!

OH and i have been out and about in the sun all, has been really nice - although hae just noticed that my shoulders got a little bit burnt!!
Oh and another reason to be excited, 3 weeks til OH and i go on holiday!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Evening!
Birdie, that is good news about the holiday vouchers! it's always nice to win something, at least that's what I'm telling myself now I've won two footballs and a cricket ball... Oh, and the wrestling sounded fun too. Random, but fun
I like your happy ramblings Tete! Everyone's always in a good mood when the sun shines and it makes strangers talk to you  Sounds like you're having a good weekend, except for the football-related drama. I had that a couple of weeks ago when OH's beloved Norwich dropped out of the Championship!! The premiership is but a distant memory for them now... I went for a big pub lunch yesterday and went for a walk across Devil's Dyke afterwards - must have burnt off ooh, at least 1/16th of it! :rotfl:
I've applied for the job at the museum place I was volunteering at (www.charleston.org.uk if you're interested!) even though I spent ages writing a cover letter and adapting my CV and then she told me I had to fill in one of those irritating application forms. Grrr! At least it's done now, so I can enjoy my evening and hopefully see some sun tomorrowActually I don't want it to be too lush as I'm taking my brother to see Star Trek at the Imax in the middle of the day. I'm no Trekkie but I'm pretty excited about seeing it on the BIG HUGE screen!
Hope everyone's having a nice weekend x x

Morning everyone
I had a fab weekend, went to a wedding do on saturday evening and then over to OH's old stomping ground to have a drink with a friend who was on her hen night. It ended up being all the girls in the same pub as the boys but it was a good laught and the boys were talking about the stag weekend they had in Newcastle. Then the subject came up about OH's stag do and they've all decided to go to Amsterdam. Two of the boys were vying for the job of looking after him over there too......astounding really as I haven't even had a proposal yet! Guess that's in the offing at some point thenGood job he knows the answer will be 'yes'! Yesterday went out for a nice lunch and then chilled out in the garden with the 2 dogs and the nice thought that I still have a day before I go back to work :T Today's he's back at work and I've gpt loads to do around the house but it's preferable to going back to work!!!
Hope everyone has a good day xxxLet's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
Sounds good Pilchard. I am off to Ikea and then joining you on the housework front. I have been neglecting it for aaages. Aww only 7 lots on ebay sold with 12 unsold. Some even had watchers but no bids. That sucks. I am well behind on the 5 a day challenge.
Had a lovely weekend though, we spent all day in the park lazing with friends and eating a picnic. It was so hot here. Bit of a grey day today.

Happy, I run around Thornes Park but here's a better idea, I could wear a tee shirt saying Pilchard and it would make you run even faster....in the opposite direction shouting to everyone that your being chased by a mad fish! :rotfl:
