Great news about the £100 travel vouchers Birdie, hope you can find something to use them on!
Sounds like everyones had lovely weekends!! Just got back from OHs house, we've seen 4 movies this weekend with his house being so close to cineworld, offically movied out. Been hitting all the travel agents places this weekend and we've decided to go to Disneyland Paris in December, found a 3 day coach dealio for £250 over our 2 year ann. mark so it fits nicely. Although my brain is quite dead after offering to watch Teletext holidays to see 'roughly' what the prices would be.
It's been surprisingly great weather this weekend, compairing it to last weeks rain fest!
Enjoy the last of the long weekend everyone!0 -

Did you see Drag me to Hell Cinny? That's planned for Orange Wednesday, looks like I might poo myself. That's so excting about Disneyland, I went there a couple of years ago just for a day trip and never thought I would like it but you can't help but get caught up in it all and I bet it'll be magical at Christmas!
Lara your picnic sounds lovely - wasn't it 27 degrees or something in London today?! I keep forgetting it's still only May after all the lovely weather we've been having *frantically touches wooden rocking chair*
Poddle when do you hear about the job? Keeping my fingers crossed for you! And I hate having to fill in apps when I have a perfectly good CV that says ALL THE SAME STUFF.
I drank a bottle of wine last night and then went out on a 7 mile walk to loosen up after the 10 mile one we did on Sat (!) - it's surprising how the alcohol affected me actually, I was so breathless even though I didn't feel hungover.
Wonder if D&N are back yet and if they've had gorgeous sun in Ireland too? I'm off to check my bank balance and see if by some miracle my wages have gone in a day early...
ETA - Nope, no such luck!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hi everyone,
sounds like you all had lovely weekends! Mine has been fairly good although not been out as much as I like. Can't wiat to have a garden when we get a house.
We went to the tower of london today, was quite good and interesting. Also if you let them give gift aid they give you a form so you can go free for the rest of year so we did that as was quite busy so we might go back another time and have a better look.
The money situations not great, not too bad considering holiday was this month. Have no money now till Thursday but have done food shopping today so should be ok.
Cinny have you tried teletext holidays online, doesnt hurt your eyes as much!0 -
Tete - Sorry for not replying earlier but certainly I can send you my spreadsheet if you PM your email addy.
I have been looking at the GAP insurance (Return to Invoice in case something happens). Dealers was £299 which is not going to happy for 3 years when after a quick search on the interweb I found it for around £90. Checked quidco and I can get £22 back so that put one quote down to £74 for 3 years cover at the same level and terms as the dealers. I know what I will be telling the dealers on Wednesday when they know with the weekly news update. Apparently we might be needed to sign some forms.0 -
It is certainly going to take Dinah and NIM a while to catch up with the thread since she has been away since Friday morning. Hopefully they catch up before we get to page 75 or 76.0

Morning Everybody
Well the weather has finally given up. First drops of rain in about a week. Hopefully it clears up by the time I leave here. I see tomorrow is meant to be a wash out - typical for my day off.0 -
Morning Poolie! Weather here is pretty awful too, started bucketing it down yesterday and already has those threatening to rain clouds in the sky this morning. Quite glad I'm stuck in the office all day today, hope it does fair up for you day off though! Any plans?
Snow White - I loved Young Victoria, very weepy indeed! On my to buy list when it comes out (July time?)
We went to see Night at the Museum 2, Tormented, Awaydays and Coraline (Cost an extra £1.50 each to see it! but worth it) I think Drag me to Hell is out Wednesday Tete, me and OH are going to see it Friday so you'll have to let me know if it's any good or not. And if I'll have to sneak a pillow to hide behind in with me.
Wendz - I'm sure you'll make it till Thursday fine, only 2 days to go now!
Ooh, everyones holidays are getting close! Not too long till Paris now Tete? Trying to convince OH it won't really cost 'that much' to go away for a week in September, going to have a looksie at caravans on my lunch break to see if I can get one cheaper than the Cottages I've seen (Only about £340 which isn't tooooo bad!)
Off to look at my bank balance with slightly closed eyes, then straight onto the work pile now the coffee has kicked in. Have a nice morning!0 -
Morning Cinny
I have been told I have to go to the Fishmonger in Reading for a crab, so planning to get up there early (I mean like 7am) to avoid car parking charges. Need to remember to give them a call as ask them to get a crab in for OH.0 -
