Ask Dr George? How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

Can anybody help?
I want to buy some teeth whitening gel (carbamide peroxide gel).
It must be either 15% or 22%. I used to get it from my dentist but it worked out at £25 per syringe, very expensive compared to what I have seen on ebay.
Can anybody give me details of a reputable supplier whose gel actually works and that is a lot cheaper. I only need to buy the gel not the moulds.
Any help is much appreciated.
Many thanks0 -
Hello 1Foxylady
I'll move your thread over to the 'Health' board, where it should get more views and responses.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I have bought from ebay in the past, but don't know the sellers now. I had given up on the bleaching idea as I got terrible sensitivity in one tooth.
I found this site a wee while back, it looks like it has good products and great prices & some very useful hints for pre-bleaching.
May not help you, but worth checking out I think.0 -
I've just done a search (should have done it first before posting this thread!) and found lots of info.
The website you gave me a link to is in dollars, does that matter? Has anyone else bought from that website? If so, how long for delivery?
Thanks0
