You cannot go about demanding scientific evidence for one thing whilst completely refusing to even name the alternative you are claiming to be 'better' or 'safer'. :rotfl:

No - you name it.
I do not know what you are referring to. I do not know which 'scientific officer' you mean, and the only conclusion I can draw from your post is that either you have no idea what chemical you are talking about, or naming it would show it up for the unsafe substance it is.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.

Actually I suspect the magic substance is nothing more than a common household ingredient that has no whitening properties at all but is commonly used in toothpastes as an abrasive.
Unfortunately some unscrupulous traders have sold whitening solutions claiming they contain this but investigation has revealed its actually our old friend carbamine peroxide (hydrogen peroxide) and therefore highly illegal.0 -

Please provide the evidence for the products being sold as non-peroxide by Dr Giniger as this is quite worrying and quite a slur on his reputation.
As someone who has used peroxide, the non peroxide product was more comfortable and had no peroxide taste.0 -
All very impressive. But a CV of some random person is not the same as telling us what the active ingredient is!
But wouldn't it have just been simpler to name the active ingredient?
If it's baking soda, just say so!
We all know that doesn't really whiten teeth!
And, BTW, your mask of 'informed consumer' is really slipping now, and the 'industry stooge' is clear to see!How to find a dentist.

Stop it again with this 'please provide the evidence' tosh!
If you are promoting a company that wont even name its ingredients then you do not have the right to even enter into any sort of adult discussion on safety and efficacy.
The reason that Dr Ginger's company has no mention of any active ingredient on its website is because
A. It's ineffective
B. It's dangerous
C. It's illegal
Now, if you would kindly tell us what it actually is, we can see which one, or, indeed how many of those options it is under! How to find a dentist.

According to the accounts posted by his company to date no products have ever been manufactured, let alone sold by Dr Ginigers company.
The fascinating thing is the post by teeth whitening UK is from a press release about white smile global posted in 2011 .
The reason the poster cannot list any ingredients is because to date white smile global has not manufactured a single item . In fact there is a suspicion that it is a shell company and it is about to be reported to the sec as it has posted losses for every quarter.
It is therefore somewhat impossible that the poster has ever tried one of their products as they have never been manufactured.
However you can buy wholesale from Chinese manufacturers white smile branded whitening gels which contain a variety of ingredients including peroxide and sodium perborate but have no EU safety certificates.0 -
