    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • good find toothsmith. Should be made illegal to provide any whitening gels over the internet! I've seen people on ebay selling upto 35% HP, dread to think what damage this could do to peoples teeth and gums!

Are you saying that youve already had the crowns done, and now they are not the same colour as the teeth. (i hope the dentist hasnt just crowned four virgin teeth to make them look the same!??)

If they are yellower/darker, then i wouldnt worry too much. There is a chance that as your whitened teeth begin to fade back, they will begin to match the crowns. when they do, try and maintain the colour at that level.

Thanks for your reply, Welsh dent. But this was lying with head lower than feet.

I am aware of posture troubles for dentists. Our old, lovely one had to give up because of arthritis.

I still wouldn't say it's unusual though to have your body positioned in such a manner. You may need straps to
    Keep you on though ;-).

I think I speak for most of the dentists here when I say if you aren't happy with your results you need to speak to your dentist. Personally I can't think of any situation where I would crown a tooth SOLELY to change it's colour following whitening. I could see a case for a grossly discolured tooth but for a cosmetic case as this sounds like I wouldnt
