My good news is I'm back online after our debt free trip to Canada. It was fab, and we actually managed to underspend by over £100, so we have some savings for the first time in our married lives! That and the fact there was an end of year statement from OH's ISA which he thought he'd emptied and in fact had another £250 he didn't know about. Life is going the right way!

Welcome back Fairylights, and congrats on the good news.

My good news is that i am back here after being away for a few weeks and all birthdays are over and done with so i can get back to a tighter budget.

Plus we got accepted for the egg CC so we can transfer some of the other CC debt over and enjoy the 0% interest which will allow us to really start to reduce our CC debt.

Well I received my cheque for £168 from Capital One (reclaiming charges). Have posted off to the bank and the whole amount will be paid onto my Egg Card once it clears... hooray!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

And... this week I got copies of my bank statements for the last 6 years, and calculated that they owe me over £2k in punative charges!! Letter requesting payment has been sent, and when they pay up, it'll be another £2k off of my debt, and bring that debt-free date forward to before Christmas!!!

Can you back claim for all that time?
If it has been discussed before I would appreciate a PM, with the details.

Thank you very much in advance!
