  • Hi everyone,

I've got an advert in some local papers to advertise my babysitting (cost £29.70 for 3 months and paid for itself 6 times over already) and got a call tonight (after not hearing from anyone else for ages) to ask me to babysit loads of babies - at a posh wedding venue on Saturday night - paying £50 - whoopee! Hopefully the babies will sleep!

I am trying to overpay Mr Barclaycard by £175 this month (total payment £200 inc. min. payment) so this will really help!
A chap came round to see OH last night to ask if he'd like a couple more lessons from September.

PandaBear - what are the lessons in? My mind is boggling!

Got a tax refund of £366.54, didn't know they gave you tax back, lol! Think I'll save the £366 and squander the 54 pence, well a girl has to live a little.

DD gets the keys to her new house next week, I expect that will knock a big dent in it. We said we would buy them a washer dryer. It is DS 18th on the 25th so anything left will go towards that fund. Guess there won't be anything left for me, but that's been a mother

Just a small one, but car insurance down by £26 a month!!! (Almost half what it was last year!)

Got renewal quote through and used online comparison service as recommended here, then called up to HAGGLE!! which I have never done before!

Still astronomical as I am v bad driver, but less bad than last year!

My good news is that I'm not in work haha! Off with a bad back (nothing serious) and apparently the rumour back at the office is that I was jumping off wardrobes and swinging on chandeliers...should be interesting when I go back in!!
