Well, my good news - isn't really good news, but it's just how I'm feeling at the moment.

    Back to work tomorrow.

Normally I'd welcome a break, but this weekend has been quite a lonely one for me that I'm looking forward to having people around me during the day now.

*Note to self - try to find people to spend bank holiday days with who are also single*

    Hey moozie,

That's fantastic - I'm so pleased for you! I've found it really difficult to sell on amazon - I don't seem to make much more than postage but I know that good sellers are academic books (which I sold on after uni).

    Well done!

Aww Hipkiss, I know what you mean, it can get very quiet around here when DS goes to his Dads and I'm on my lonesome. I come on here instead! :D

    My good news:

Work expenses have been paid. Hooray! £63.30 gone in.

Quidco is starting to rack up nicely - £32.45 due in May (peeved that A&L didn't track, should have been another £50 on top  )

And having bought some Xmas and b'day presents in sales today I've saved @ £80 compared to what I'd normally spend.

Well done Moozie on your Amazon sales...keep thinking I should sort my books out and start doing the same.

    good news today.

I managed to get all those crappy jobs done today that you never have the time for, as DD was at MIL and OH at work.

Sad that this is my only good news but I am so glad I got em done :j
  • My good news is that my tax code changed, due to a tip on the cutting tax board so I should be a few pound better off each month. It'll be even more good news when I get a rebate for the past six years...

My good news for today is that I've got my IFA coming round tonight to see if he can get me better mortgage rate.

Have had a look round and think I can save £40-50 per month on a better rate.

Mortgage was 100% but as prices have gone up, its now 82%

Lets see if he can find better.

My good news is that in February, I signed up for the Blockbuster 2 week free trial. I cancelled is during the free period, but they charged me 14.99 after the 2 weeks. I sent them an email, but heardnothing. Mid March, they charged me another 14.99. I wrote to them via their online customer services form, but again heard nothing. Yesterday - yes, another 14.99!!!!

I called and explained I only ever wanted the 2 week trial and that I'd sent an email and written via the online feedback. The girl was great and agreed to refund the whole lot back to my credit card - nearly £50! I didn't think they'd agree to the whole lot, but she was fine and just said, not a problem!
