Well done. Good luck with the interview. My bad news is that my central heating boiler has broken down and ive got no heating. The good news is that my husband is a plumber and he just told me on the phone hes already got the parts for it and when he comes back from work hes gonna fix it.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Hi everyone,
I got accepted for the Barclaycard 0% for 10 months no BT fee this week - yay!
I've already been turned down for 2 0% cards, so this was a big relief.
My Mint card is 14.9% (they've just upped it 1%, cheeky b's) so just waiting for final figure (I've just paid some off) and I can BT it to my new Barclaycard which will then get swiftly chopped up into tiny pieces.
So pleased.

I listed an item on eBay last week and regretted doing so as I saw other items the exact same failed to sell during the week. I asked £3 for mine, undercutting everyone else by around a fiver, and it just sold today --- for £21!!!! :j :T0

My good news is that we got through our family holiday without going into our overdraft - first time ever, It's great to feel in control of the spending. :j
Oh and daughter has a job interview on Tuesday after nearly 6 months of being out of work - I'm really proud of her, she has managed to eke out her severance payment and jobseekers allowance (since February) so that she hasn't got any debt yet. I think that one of my gratest achievements has been to drum into my kids that credit cards and cigarettes were both invented by the devil. :rotfl: :j0 -

Well this week i have halved my broadband and telephone costs by switching to tiscali from BT and onetel. Cut £3 per month from my pet insurance and changed my mobile phone to a free line rental for 1 year on a 1 year contract with inclusive minutes/texts(how do they do this?????)
For the first time in years i feel in control of my money instead of my money being in control of me and I actually have some rainy day money.0
